Transcript: Enhance TTP : Test Administration Data
We would like Transcript Definitions (TTP) to align with the Texas Academic Achievement Record (AAR) 2024 requirements.
For each of the five EOC subjects, transcripts should display:
Highest performance level earned
Administration name
Year of administration (YYYY format)
Our Testing Department requires that transcripts display not only the highest EOC performance level earned, but also the administration name and year associated with that performance level.1 voteTEA confirmed via email that the MM/YYYY meets the AAR min standards and they will be updating their documentation to avoid confusion:

CALPADS 2026–27: Restrict MST.LI and SMS.LI Language Instruction Dropdowns
To support CALPADS 2026–27 reporting requirements, Aeries will restrict the Language Instruction dropdown selections on the Master Schedule (MST.LI) and Scheduling Master Schedule (SMS.LI) pages to only those language codes approved by CALPADS. This change will limit users to valid reporting options and help ensure accurate data entry for course section language instruction reporting.
2 votesAt this time, no programming is necessary as we are already translating to 3 character codes. When we transfer our internal processes to natively use 3 character codes, this will be included in that change.

PDC - change the order of survey
It would be nice to have the documents come before the Authorizations. That way, the parents can read the documents regarding the authorizations and then select whether or not they will authorize it.

ADA Make‑Up Code can't be deleted in the UI
The ADA Make‑Up Code (ATT.ADA) can't be deleted in the UI. Please add a trash can next to this code so users can delete individual ADA Make-Up codes that were entered incorrectly.

Add "priority" on support tickets for emergencies
On the Submit a ticket page in support, add a drop down for "priority" or a way to get emergency support. The higher priority would be triaged immediately so a database error or other system-down issue gets handled or triaged immediately.
1 voteAll that's required to have our system mark a ticket as Urgent is to use that word in the title or in the ticket description. These are flagged for the support reps to determine their overall priority.
Note, please do NOT use a statement in the description like "Hey, this issue is NOT urgent" as that will be marked as Urgent. :-)

Assertive Discipline Entry by Teachers
Provide an entry form for Teachers to enter discipline infractions within Aeries Teacher Portal. Once entered, it would trigger an email to administrators.

Excel report from flex sms
Is it possible to pull an excel form instead of PDF for the student roster in a class on the Flex SMS?

Red Flag field shows on all pages for student
It would be nice to have red flags on every page for a student, not just on a profile or attendance, just in case it's missed by someone.

Ed Rights as Mandatory Field
Make Ed. Rights Holder a mandatory field for new contacts record and must be populated with "Y" or "N".

The state is now requiring data collection for School Bus Riders.
Our High School district would like to use data validations so parents must answer a Yes or No option for "School Bus Rider" on the portal options family information page.1 vote -
Academic Planner - Should be able to drag courses between years
Would make the process quicker to be able to drag courses between years (not subject).

Add Spell Check to 504 Page
We have a request from a staff person to add spell check to the 504 plan. Because they print this out and give to parents for review they would like the extra help. Especially when English is not their first language.
As a workaround I suggested they type in a word doc and copy and paste the info into the 504 plan.
1 voteMost browsers have a spell check feature, the word will be underlined in red and then if the user right clicks they will see suggestions for the correct spelling.

Allow Registration Date & Time to be export from Online Enrollment Pending Database
When exporting the data from the pending database it is only pulling the registration date and not the registration date & time. Is there any way you can include the time? We timestamp all our new registration packets.

- Revision Note from 8/17/2023: The Registration Date can be formatted in Excel to include the time of day when the registration was completed. The default format is MM/DD/YYYY, but the user can change the column format in Excel to use a custom format such as MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS.

Attendance History
Please add a way to see a HISTORY of what was coded in attendance. (NOT to be confused with Attendance History - which shows enrollment). This would help the attendance secretaries in case they change a code and want to revert to what was coded before. The history could simply list the changes that were made in attendance. This would help immensely.

Aeries Query Expansion Custom Tables for the FRE table
Allow a Query Expansion for the FRE table just like you have for the Contact Table (CONP) and the Program Table (PGMS) to be on one line (Pivoted) when queried.

When students are dropped from a class they are not automatically dropped from the gradebook.

Have a place to auto populate the name of person entering incident details in Assertive discipline
It would be easier for District office staff to locate the staff member who added a discipline record for corrections for reporting. Can we have a field that is auto-populated by the user name, or a required field for the person entering the record? The referrer field does not tell us who actually entered the record.

These fields already exist in the ADS - Assertive Discipline table and can be seen in Aeries Query. The Database Definitions page shows the Query Fields and Names:
IDT - Insert Date
IUI - Insert User ID
IUN - Insert User Name
UUI - Update User ID
UUN - Update User Name

Add username to Attendance Submission Log for each period submission
Right now ASL records the date and time each period attendance was submitted, but it doesn't record who submitted that attendance. It would be helpful for us to know if a teacher submitted that attendance or if an attendance clerk did so. This would be 11 new fields for P0 to P9 Username and AL Username, maybe also another set of the same but for First Submit Username to go with the First Submit Time values.
1 voteIn a Non-Flex school the user name of who submitted attendance is stored in the ATL - Attendance Log table. For flex schools, it is stored in the CAL - Class Attendance Log table. This data is available by Aeries Query.

High School Course creation scheduled by year and credit awarded by semester.
Create high school courses that can be scheduled with one course ID over the year, and credit can be awarded by semester rather than by year. For example, English IV could be scheduled in both fall and Spring using code E400, then credit would be awarded based on semester avgs. in 1/2 credit increments. Two 1/2 credits would total the full 1.0 for the year. Specifically, if a student earned a 70 or higher in the 1st semester, then .5 credit would be awarded for that sem. avg.
