Online Enrollment - Make Parent Ed Level a mandatory field
Make the Parent Ed Level a mandatory field for parents to add/update to Online Enrollment.
54 votesIt turns out that the ability to require the parent education level is already a feature. This can be required for Online Enrollment by turning on the "Ask Parent Education Level" setting in the admin settings. Once turned on, parents cannot proceed without populating the field. Attendance History
Please add a way to see a HISTORY of what was coded in attendance. (NOT to be confused with Attendance History - which shows enrollment). This would help the attendance secretaries in case they change a code and want to revert to what was coded before. The history could simply list the changes that were made in attendance. This would help immensely.

Allow the secondary ADA time field to function for AM and PM classes in Daily Attendance schools.

Analytics - Allow use of Custom Tables
Allow a custom table to be used with Analytics Item Definitions/Dashboards.

Allow field level security on staff table
Please add field level security to the STF table as the STF table is now needed to run student schedules to include the teacher name. The staff table contains confidential information that front office staff should not have access to like birthdate for one.

State Seal of Biliteracy - Update for 2022 Requirements
Update the State Seal of Biliteracy process to honor the following requirements for the 2022 graduates:
1. 2022 Grads must pass the 11th Grade CAASPP ELA test with "Standard Met" or above, or they must pass a Locally Determined 11th Grade ELA test
2. If a student took both the 11th Grade CAASPP and a Locally Determined 11th Grade ELA test, the better of the two scores will be used to determine eligibility
3. Student ID Card Report - Add Option to not display Student Date of Birth
We would like the option to not include the student's birthdate on the Student ID Card report.
4 votesThank you for this suggestion. The Student ID Cards report includes a Print Birth Date option. To leave the birth date off the cards, uncheck Print Birth Date before printing the report. Because this option is already available, we are marking this idea as 'Already a feature'.

CALPADS 2026–27: Restrict MST.LI and SMS.LI Language Instruction Dropdowns
To support CALPADS 2026–27 reporting requirements, Aeries will restrict the Language Instruction dropdown selections on the Master Schedule (MST.LI) and Scheduling Master Schedule (SMS.LI) pages to only those language codes approved by CALPADS. This change will limit users to valid reporting options and help ensure accurate data entry for course section language instruction reporting.
2 votesAt this time, no programming is necessary as we are already translating to 3 character codes. When we transfer our internal processes to natively use 3 character codes, this will be included in that change.

Automated days in Class Calendars for Flex Scheduling
When we create a Class Calendar for Flex scheduling, for example MTWF, it would be wonderful if Aeries could do the rest and we not have to click a little check box for every day of the school year that class will be in session. If we have already created the overall School Calendar and we create a Class Calendar for MTWF and assign it to a section, then Aeries would already have the info needed to determine the days that section is in session and needs attendance. It feels redundant to have to select each day's checkbox for each…
2 votesA feature already exists on the Class Calendar page that will allow mass assigning dates to a calendar. The Mass Select Dates button will allow mass selecting of days of the week for a specific date range. See Class Calendars documentation.

TX: Mass Change of Endorsement Status Not Updating on Graduation Status
A solution is needed to allow users to mass update (add/remove) Endorsement Statuses and selecting Opt Out/In options.

Custom Messages to Display On Initial Login
Allow for custom messages to be shown inside of Aeries upon initial login and possibly a banner at the top of the page for announcements. Announcements could include messages about downtime, known issues, and ideally could be displayed based on permission groups.

Transcript Class Rank - Ability to phase out by grade level
Currently we provide the class rank on our transcripts. We would like to begin the process of phasing this program out by grade level.
2 votesHello! We have a feature called “GPA Configuration Page” that is available. Multiple custom GPAs can be created and it can be used to phase out the Class Rank. It is a “beta” feature and is only available to early adopters. It can be run in a sandbox copy of your database. You would need to contact the Support department for more information. Flex Scheduling - Allow Sections to be Linked for a Class
Flex Scheduling is wonderful. What would make it even more wonderful would be to allow us to link sections that together make up a class - and then being able to customize that class name would be the icing on the cake. :)
We have to create separate sections for classes that meet at different times on different days, but for teachers / gradebooks / grades / schedule viewing it would be REALLY useful to let us link certain sections together so they can be managed as a whole instead of having to tweak a field on each of three…

Add a Link to Test Settings from 504 Plan
Add a link to the Test Settings page within the 504 Plan page to make it easier for staff to update Test Settings Accommodations and Designated Supports for the 504 students.

Transcript: Enhance TTP : Test Administration Data
We would like Transcript Definitions (TTP) to align with the Texas Academic Achievement Record (AAR) 2024 requirements.
For each of the five EOC subjects, transcripts should display:
Highest performance level earned
Administration name
Year of administration (YYYY format)
Our Testing Department requires that transcripts display not only the highest EOC performance level earned, but also the administration name and year associated with that performance level.1 voteTEA confirmed via email that the MM/YYYY meets the AAR min standards and they will be updating their documentation to avoid confusion:

PDC - change the order of survey
It would be nice to have the documents come before the Authorizations. That way, the parents can read the documents regarding the authorizations and then select whether or not they will authorize it.
