  1. SELA Conflict Report-Fix ADEL issue

    SELA Conflict Report is not recognizing the date in the EL Start date field as being the one to compare to what is in the EAD field that came from CALPADS.

    Hello, this idea/bug has been completed in the 1/15/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    CALPADS Extracts – The SELA extract now includes Adult Ed students.
    Language Assessment – The new Adult Ed Date field from LAC (LAC.AES) was added.
    SELA Conflict Report – The report now uses the new date field for ADEL students (LAC.AES).

    Referrals for Intervention Approvals - Inactive and pre-enrolled students are displaying. Referral Approvals should be limited to only students with teachers that belong to that site.

    Hello, A fix for this issue was released on 10/5/2023. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Referrals Approval - The Include Inactive Students option was added allowing users to view only active students, or both active and inactive students.

  3. Users (Security) - Add User Type Column to Display on Search

    Please add another column - type (teacher, user, admin) to the users page along with the ability to sort or filter.

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 08/31/2021 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    Security – The User Type column has been added when searching or listing users on the Security pages. Also, when viewing lists of users, columns can now be sorted and filtered on.

    The STU.CIC field description on the Student Data 2 page needs to be change from Counted in CBEDS to Counted on Census Day.

    The Residence Survey has been added to the Online Enrollment process

  7. Mobile App - Attendance wording when there is no data

    Please change the wording from "Nothing to Show" to something more user friendly like "Student has no absences" on the Attendance page when a student has no absences. "Nothing to Show" is confusing to some kids and to many parents.

    Hello, this item has been completed in the 10/26/2020 AppStore iOS Mobile Portal update. Parents will need to update their Mobile Portal App to see the change to the attendance screen.
    iOS phones will now display the same wording as Android phones when a student does not have any attendance data (i.e., no absences, tardies, etc.) : No attendance data available

  8. Immunizations - Tdap 7th Grade Comment Box

    In Aeries Immunization file --when you look from Tdap 7th all the way across to the far right--- all the other vaccines have a comment box to the right of the exemption and date columns. Can one be added for Tdap?

    Would like for Admin to emulate teacher accounts in the Aeries Teacher App similar to emulating parent and student accounts in the Aeries Mobile App.

  10. Teacher Portal Attendance - Allow teachers to mass add multiple sections attendance codes and attendance notes

    Since the mass add attendance codes has begun, Teachers are missing attendance if they do not enter for all sections they have during a certain period. It would be helpful if they could check an update all sections for periods box when choosing the code they want to mass add.

  11. SELA Conflict Report - Would Like Option to Include Inactives AND Skip Pre-Enrolled

    In the SELA Conflict Report "Include Inactive Students" and "Pre-Enrolled" are considered the same type of tag in the results when running the report. The tag types are not the same. You would rarely want to run a report to include students who were Pre-Enrolled but never attended. You would likely want to include those who were with you but are now Inactive because you reported their data to CALPADS and want to audit the data.

    This idea was completed with the 11/20/2020 update to Aeries with the following revision note:

    SELA Conflict Report – The report has been adjusted to handle Adult English Learner (ADEL) language fluency. Also, it now supports KEEP / SKIP, school selection (when logged at the district and not running the report from the CALPADS page), and the ability to skip Pre-School (PS) grade level.

  12. CALPADS-Allow SENR extracts before school starts

    Districts have requested the ability to create SENR extracts in a new school year for all students, prior to the first day of school, without having to activate ATT. This would greatly facilitate Direct Certification and also summer IELPAC testing.

    Hello, this idea/bug has been completed in the 09/15/2020 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    The SENR extract has been updated according to the CALPADS CFS v12. The SENR indicators have been removed from the extract, and the new 1.34 column has been added. Also, an option has been added to extract the SENR file before school begins, as long as a calendar has been created. The enrollment date will be the first day of school.

  13. Add code 31 "GED" to Exit Reason on Attendance Enrollment and Enrollment History

    Texas customers would like to use the code 31 with description "GED" for movers. This code should be available in the dropdowns on the Attendance Enrollment page under Reason (ATT.RS) when ATT.CD = L (Ent/Lv) and on Enrollment History in the dropdown for ENR.ER (Exit Reason).

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 8/18/2022 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    Enrollment History - In the Exit Reason (ENR.ER) field, code 310 was created for TxCHSE (TxCHSE = Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency).

    Attendance Enrollment - In the Reason (ATT.RS) field, code 310 was created for TxCHSE (TxCHSE = Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency).

    Display pop-up message if user tries to go to another student or another screen while still in edit mode.

  19. Flex SMS Board - Ability to select Primary Teacher when adding a section

    Currently on the Flex Scheduling board, when creating a section there is no ability to select the primary teacher. The current process of creating the section and going to scheduling master to add the primary teacher creates an unnecessary and time-consuming extra step, especially for people who are accustomed to working directly on the board.
