I just had another student with adoption orders - there is no place to keep the student's former name for historical data - her cumulative records contain the previous name, so there needs to be some way to cross-reference, just like there is in the staff records.

Please add fields for student previous name for those who have had legal name changes, and make it searchable. There is no place to cross reference when students have legal name changes causing confusion and duplicate records being created instead of merged.

We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

Hello, I wanted to let you know that the following development was completed as part of the changes for Expanded Learning Programs and shipped on 6/24/2025.
Here are the relevant revision notes:
New Year Rollover:
- For California districts, data in the following tables will roll over for records with start dates on or after July: Supp Att Calendar (ATC), Supp Att Assignments (ATA), Supp Att Data (ATD).
School Info:
- Configurations > District Settings:
- A new district setting titled “Supplemental Attendance Program Codes for Attendance Recovery” is now available. Users with Edit rights can identify which Supplemental Attendance Program (ATP.TY) codes are used for this program type. See District Settings.
- A new district setting titled “Expanded Learning Programs” is now available. Users with Edit rights can identify which Supplemental Attendance Program (ATP.TY) codes are used for this program type. See District Settings.

We have more and more students with legal name changes. It is essential that we have fields to be able to verify and query students previous names. This is mirroring the Staff Previous Name Fields.
