Yes, this is a major issue for us as well. We also need the History broken out for World History to have 10 credits mandatory and then the other 10 credits can consist of US History or American Government.
Because the system currently does not have these categories broken down and the kids are showing they are A-G when they are not, it would be nice to have an Override button to mark them as NOT A-G instead of only one to override to mark as meeting A-G.

It would also be nice to add a field to the drop down for "Field Trip" for when the student is administered a dosage while on a field trip.

YES, this feature should be enabled to allow users to update Attendance History for a specific date range at an individual site or even selected sites instead of only having the option to update all sites within the district.

4/2/26 - Recent updates to Attendance Recovery
Yesterday’s release contained quite a few items related to Attendance Recovery that we wanted to bring to your attention:
- We’ve updated our Workflow AR document to make it clear about new set-up tasks that must be completed in order for the process to function properly.
- A new District Setting for ADA Make-Up has been added and must be defined in order to enable this new functionality.
- A new field (ATT.AMU) has been added to store Attendance Minutes Utilized when ADA Make-Up is applied for Attendance Recovery.
- Minutes will be auto-calculated based on the student's Special Ed Alternate Minimum Day, school type, or grade level, depending on which applies.
- We will be adding a process soon to automatically update the ATT.AMU field for any existing absences previously recovered via AR.
- We’ve added the Attendance Recovery Bank page that provides a read-only view of each…

This does not just affect Aeries Analytics, but it also needs to ensure the GATE extended field in Aeries Query utilizes data from either the GTE or PRG table and not just the PGM table as we do not use the PGM table for recording GATE table since the GATE table has been added and the extended field is not working for us. I do not think we should have to enter data into both tables, therefore, the logic should pull from either table based on which table sites utilize.

This is a very important feature and teachers need access to run multi-student searches/keeps. Please update this programming to allow for them to do so.

In our Portal Options, we have the income survey enabled and have checked the box to Skip the Income Survey when the survey has been completed on or after the date specified. However, when students transfer from one site to another in our district, the income survey data they submitted at their previous site is not rolling over to the new site and is forcing parents to re-answer the income survey questions which is causing issues for CALPADS reporting. It would be nice if this data was collected one time annually based on the student ID number and whether there is already a active Free record for the student on file for the specified date set.

This is also a major issue for the income survey responses parents are required to answer during PDC because the data is not transferring to the DCL when students transfer between schools in district and this causes parents to re-answer the questions and then another F&R record is created.

We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

Additionally, it would be nice if teachers or specified office staff could be automatically notified via email when students are picked up early.

Yes, this is a major issue for us too, as teachers who have been reassigned to a new teaching assignment, still had access to the prior gradebooks they were assigned to and they have access to delete the gradebook completely.

Yes, this is a major issue for our Math Validation rules where it has to have the same year same subject for the validation, but students meet it with higher level math course or same subject different course code and/or term and they are not being calculated as meeting A-G and have to be manually overwritten.
