We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

If the reporting period is 7/1 - 6/30, how will this affect the Calendar if ELOP is offered during Summer School for both 2025 and 2026?

We have ELOP over the summer and is housed in the Summer School database. Will there be an option to copy this data into the new school year?

4/2/26 - Recent updates to Attendance Recovery
Yesterday’s release contained quite a few items related to Attendance Recovery that we wanted to bring to your attention:
- We’ve updated our Workflow AR document to make it clear about new set-up tasks that must be completed in order for the process to function properly.
- A new District Setting for ADA Make-Up has been added and must be defined in order to enable this new functionality.
- A new field (ATT.AMU) has been added to store Attendance Minutes Utilized when ADA Make-Up is applied for Attendance Recovery.
- Minutes will be auto-calculated based on the student's Special Ed Alternate Minimum Day, school type, or grade level, depending on which applies.
- We will be adding a process soon to automatically update the ATT.AMU field for any existing absences previously recovered via AR.
- We’ve added the Attendance Recovery Bank page that provides a read-only view of each…

The Alternate Income Form should still be a part of Parent Data Confirmation to allow districts to get the most for LCFF purposes and clear language stating this is for school-year benefits. Logic should be built into the response received to redirect the family to another page for the Universal Benefits Application being clear that this is for Summer benefits. It leaves the burden of choice to the family especially considering the UBA asks for more information than the AIF and requires auditing.
