  4. Flex SMS Board - Ability to select Primary Teacher when adding a section

    Currently on the Flex Scheduling board, when creating a section there is no ability to select the primary teacher. The current process of creating the section and going to scheduling master to add the primary teacher creates an unnecessary and time-consuming extra step, especially for people who are accustomed to working directly on the board.

  6. Class Scheduling - Allow Alt Ed Scheduling for Specific Courses

    Would like to see a solution for High Schools who offer online courses (i.e. Edgenuity, APEX) and or use placeholder courses. Currently, High Schools are unable to know the exact course that students are taking via Edgenuity program, which makes it highly problematic to schedule, figure out their graduation status, keep tabs on progress via grading, transcribing.

    In looking at current Aeries features there are 2 current functions that get close to providing a solution. The first one is Alternative Ed. Scheduling, however I was told that this feature would not work in a regular comprehensive, as it would throw…

    Hello, the idea has been completed in the 08/19/2021 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    School Settings – A new option has been added to the Alt Ed Scheduling area to allow users to configure individual sections to be Flagged for Alt Ed Scheduling. Also, the language used to indicate the Alt Ed Scheduling option for a school has been updated to, “Use Alt Ed Scheduling For Entire School.”

    Add 4th graduation requirement subject in courses. Some graduation requirements may meet more than 3 requirements (ELD).

  8. SBG Report card Printing Options - Error in formatting

    SBG report card printing with option Return Address Block at the top, please move the top line (District Name) 3/4 " from Top of the page.
    The USPS requires this for the District name, school name, Address, City State and Zip to fit in the Window Envelope.

    Hello, this issues was fixed in the 10/14/2020 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    Teacher Attendance: When time restrictions for taking attendance are enabled but either forward-posting or back-posting attendance is also enables, posting attendance on days other than the current day will now not enforce the time/bell schedule restrictions.

    The Mass Change Period Absences page can be utilized to enter an attendance note, with or without an absence. This feature was added in a previous release.

  13. Locator Cards - Add Changes Only option

    On Locator Cards, there is no option for Changes only. Schools print off of the locator cards for schedule information often and this would assist with only changes made.

  14. Test Scores sorting for the ELPAC 20-21 test parts

    Change the default sorting of the Test Scores page so the ELPAC 2020-21 test parts sort correctly. 
     Suggestion is: Test Year from the TST.TD descending, Test ID ascending, Test Administration  descending , and then Test Part ascending.

    Import Test Results
    Minor follow up fixes were needed for the ELPAC 2019-20 Test, fixed.
    The Test Layout name needed to be updated to ELPAC Test Results – SY:2019-20, fixed.
    The Sorting of the Test Scores Table needed improvements for handling tests such as ELPAC/IELPAC where sub-tests can have different test dates, fixed.
    Test Scores were not visually separated by school year, fixed.

  15. CSU/UC Eligibility Reports - Option to Hide SAT Statement

    Add option on CSU and UC Eligibility reports to hide the SAT statement:

    *** When applying to colleges, be sure to submit the original SAT scores since the scores on this report may be translated ***

    Currently UCs and CSUs are not requiring official SAT reports.

    CSU Eligibility – This report has been updated to meet CSU’s new requirements for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. Also, the message on this report regarding pre-2016 SAT scores has been removed.

    UC Eligibility – This report has been update to meet UC’s new requirements for A-G credit completion during spring and summer of 2021. Also, the message on this report regarding pre-2016 SAT scores has been removed.

    College Entrance Requirements – This page has been updated to meet CSU’s new requirements for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. Also, reports on this page have been consolidated into a single area. See College Requirements Form and Entrance Tests

  17. New Students Enrolled After Our Last Day of In-School Attendance and CALPADS STAS File

    For EOY 3; STAS, CSIS is saying we need to send up a STAS record for new students who enrolled after our last day of in-school attendance but we can exempt them. Is there a way to auto-exempt them based on the new field in District Options for our last day of attendance if the student's first day of enrollment falls after that date?

    Hello, the bug has been completed in the 6/8/20 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    The STAS extract logic has been updated to include students enrolled after the last day of regular attendance. These students will be extracted with a “Y” in the Absence Exempt Indicator column. Also, teachers taking attendance would cause the Attendance History totals to be recalculated without limiting by the Last Day of Regular School Attendance when populated, fixed.

  19. Push and Pull Setup Tables - Add BSD and BST tables to Push Pull ability

    The Push and Pull Setup Tables process does not include copying the related BSD and BST tables to copy the entire BEL Schedule setup, including the schedule times and Days linked to the calendar.

  20. Course Requests page more like New Classes page

    Previously the Classes and Course Request forms were almost identical; with the new Classes Form came many valuable enhancements, including the Edit function which allowed a counselor to see when sections were available. In the latter stages of fixing the SMS schedule, the functionality of the Edit capacity on the Classes form would make changes easier while working in SMS and using the Course Requests form. Several client districts switch to MST in the late summer to allow counselors to take advantage of this Classes form feature; 4x4 block schools really need to see available sections which might be in…

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/24/2022 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:


    Course Request

    • Full editing of the available columns will be enabled.
    • New blank rows can be added by 1 or 10 rows at a time.
    • As part of the restructure of the page, added Class Link functionality to the Add, Edit and Delete section process.
    • When a section is added that does not match an assigned Team Course Group Number, a warning message will appear.
    • When searching for a course to be added or edited in a course request, users can now replace the existing section number with the new section without having to delete the existing section.
