Parent Square Attendance notification does not display flex periods individually
In Flex schools, allow the flex periods to display individually for Attendance notifications to Parent Square. Currently, the message appears as "one or more classes".

Logic exists to pre-determine conflicts by excluding sections from displaying in the dropdown by checking if a section is already scheduled within the same period and term. - Course Request - For schools using flexible scheduling for summer school, the Sec# drop-down field now displays section staff information, including Flex Period Short Title, Staff ID, and Staff Name for each section. CALPADS Extracts - The CRSE extract now allows using the MST.CID (Class ID) if populated, instead of the section number as part of the Class ID, which enables correct counts in the CALPADS 3.1 Class Size - By Content Area Report for classes that are combined into one class with the same teacher but different section numbers. See CALPADS in Aeries Basics - Master Schedule.

Add option to print Legal or Preferred Name on work permits
Work Permits currently prints the students preferred name. Employers would ask for legal documents from the students and they cannot verify the name on the students' legal document vs the name printed on the work permit. It would be very helpful to have the option to print either legal name or preferred name when printing work permits.
33 votesHello, a fix for this issue was released on 11/16/2023. Here are the revision notes: The Print Student Legal Name option was added allowing users to include the student's legal name on the Print CDE B1-1 Statement of Intent To Employ and Print CDE B1-4 Permit to Employ or Work reports. The legal information is only printed for users who have permission to view legal name information (LSI table), and only if the student has a legal name.

Transcripts - A new Section School (HIS.SSC) field was added and is visible by clicking More. The new field was automatically populated for existing records based on data in the School Taken (HIS.ST) field for all records which have a valid section number (HIS.SE > 0).
Copy Grades to Transcripts
- The Populate School Taken with Home School option was added. (6903 - California Specific) (JS)

The Physical Fitness Setup page can be adjusted now to turn-off the Body Composition tests.
Programming is working on adding the following message to the Physical Fitness Setup page:
Body Composition (Height/Weight/BMI) and calculations are not collected for the SPRG22 Testing Admin.We will also be locking the Body Composition fields on the Setup page and data entry pages (PFT by Teacher and Student PFT) if the Testing Admin is SPRG22.
Programming is also working on removing the calculated fields from the data entry pages.

Attendance Dashboard Allows Non School Date Range
Attendance Dashboard allows selecting non school calendar date (i.e. Sat. or Sun.) and displays %Present 100. Please modify date picker to display error and force valid school date if user tries to select date which is not in the school calendar
5 votesThis idea is being closed due to changes made in a 10/5/23 release that resolved this issue.
Attendance Dashboard:
- Weekend dates will automatically be adjusted to weekday dates if they are selected (to the nearest Friday).
- An error message was displayed when the specified Date Range was not within the current school year. Now the chart is blank when the specified Date Range is not within the current school year.

Student Data > Grades > Transcripts and Reports > Student Transcripts: Enhanced (1-Column) transcripts will now print grouped by subject & school when the new Transcript Definition Group on Subject (S1) is checked.

Allow export of Ed-Fi sync logs
In the Ed-Fi System Initialization and Testing, users have the option to go through endpoint-by-endpoint and sync Aeries records with the Ed-Fi ODS. The resulting logs are often thousands of records long, and the Aeries UI has no way of allowing export of these logs: They cannot be copied or downloaded in any form. The only way I have found to parse them is to download the html of the page and run custom scripts to discard the HTML encoding and compile the error logs. This is frustrating and time-consuming.

Ed-Fi Synchronization: When downloading the transaction results for a sync job with a large number of transactions, a browser console error could occur, and no Excel file would be generated. Now, the Excel file generation is handled by the Aeries Reporting Service and supports large data sets.

- OneRoster CSV Extract - Texas specific Grade Level mappings have been added to the extract files for Users.csv, Classes.csv, and Courses.csv, to match the OneRoster CEDS standards. For Texas customers the mappings for Early Education and Pre-Kindergarten will now translate to the CEDS codes IT (Infant/Toddler) and PK (Pre-Kindergarten) respectively.
- OneRoster CSV Extract - In some cases, incorrect grade levels were extracted for teachers who teach multiple grade ranges, fixed.

- Special Programs - The CTE Ineligible Funding (414) option was added to the Program Code drop-down list to identify students who are ineligible for CTE funding due to placement in a disciplinary setting. Program enrollment should cease the day before the student begins attendance in the discipline setting and resume the day after the student's last day in that setting. The option is used in calculations when the student was enrolled in this program for six or more consecutive school days. Report for TDHS annual report of Vision,Hearing,Scoliosis Data
All Texas districts pull medical data from their SIS (Aeries or otherwise) and manually input it to the state site. Krum's old SIS had a report? that would pull all of this for them. They would like to have the same programmed into Aeries. We have some SQL queries bulit that will pull the data. But it must be manipulated in Excel to get the necessary TOTALS for each item for each Grade level.
