    Hello, this issue has been resolved in the 01/11/2022 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:


    CALPADS Extracts - The Student Enrollment extract (SENR) could sometimes insert duplicate records for some students. The process has been updated to prevent this duplication. 

  2. Adjust the CALPADS SPRG Extract when using FRE options

    Adjust the SPRG extract file when using the "SPRG w/o FRE" or "SPRG only FRE" options to populate the file name and the Record Type Code with "SPRG_OTH" instead of "SPRG".

    This will cause the file to error out when uploading to CALPADS and prevent clearing out existing program data in CALPADS.

    Change file name extension and records in the file: to the following:

    'SPRGOTH' when using the "SPRG w/o FRE" option
    'SPRG    FRE' when using the "SPRG only FRE "option

    Hello, this issue has been resolved in the 02/24/22 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    CALPADS Extracts, Enrollment Data Files - In order to prevent accidental deletion of CALPADS data, the SPRG extracts generated with the SPRG w/o FRE or SPRG only FRE options selected have been adjusted to generate with different file names and record types. This will ensure that the file will not be submitted to CALPADS. Only the full SPRG file should be submitted.

  3. Add the Reason Leave Code to the Withdrawal Form

    Please add the Leaver Code to the "Reason for leaving" field on the Withdrawal Form. For example, instead of printing "Homeschooling", we would like to see "60 - Homeschooling".

    Adding this code will help clerks work through properly coding leaver data. Thank you!

    Student Withdrawal Form Report- The Reason for Leaving label now displays both the reason code and description.

  5. Online Enrollment - View Button for Partial Incomplete

    There is a view button for completed imported enrollment information, but there isn't one for the partial, incompletes. This button would help us be able to tell parents what information is missing from their online enrollment forms.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 8/27/24 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Student Data > Demographics > Import

    • The Set as Incomplete button was replaced with the Update Status button, providing more options for updating an enrollment status:
    • A Pending Import record can be set to Partial (Incomplete) or Delete.
    • A Partial (Incomplete) record can be set to Delete.
    • A Deleted record can be set to Pending Import or Partial (Incomplete), allowing users to recover deleted records if needed.
    • The ability to view the confirmation page for Deleted and Partial (Incomplete) enrollments is now supported. The View button is now available on the Aeries Student Import page. Selecting the View button opens the confirmation page to view student enrollment details from within Online Enrollment. See Aeries Online Enrollment Importing Students.

  7. Pre-Referral Interventions Dropdown Style

    We would like the Interventions tab in Pre-Referral Interventions to be like the Accommodations tab of the 504 page. We have a large list of Pre-referral interventions and to have them in a drop down list is crazy long and hard to use. It would be much easier if it could be separated by a type category.

  10. TK SPRG record not created for inactive student

    Automatic SPRG records for TK-185 are not being created for a student with an Inactive tag. It is honoring the Enrollment End dates, and SPRG record is being created for NSLP. Without the Status Tag being populated (but enrollment ended) both SPRG records are created with Program End Date as of the last day of enrollment, so the issue is with the status tag field itself. This is only happening in Elem w/MST schools.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 8/17/2023 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Student Import - Users can now extract a list of incoming registrations by clicking the Export to Excel button. - See Aeries Online Enrollment Importing Students
    • The Registration Date can be formatted in Excel to include the time of day when the registration was completed. The default format is MM/DD/YYYY, but the user can change the column format in Excel to use a custom format such as MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS.

  13. Independent Study Signatures/Alert for New Signature Requires

    Allow for Aeries.net users to also E-Sign as well as parents.

    Have some sort of way to alert a user/parent that they have a new signature required for I/S. A Portal banner message with a link or a way for us to customize the banner, or a way for us to email pending signatures to teachers/parents.

    Have an audit page for school office staff to track all their pending/active I/S.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 10/26/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Independent Study – A “Send a Reminder” button is available to notify parents, students, or staff to sign Independent Study Agreement documents. A confirmation email notification will be sent when a document has been digitally signed. The emails are drafted in English and Spanish. Two new Portal Teacher URL fields have been added to the School Options page in District to be used with “Send a Reminder” email for signatories. See Independent Study Agreements documentation.

    Scheduling Reject Analysis Listing Report

    • The report now supports Flex Scheduling and Staff ID-based counselor.
    • An option to print only rejected course requests was added for non-Flex schools.

  15. UID-Enrollment Tracking pulling all students

    When the Enrollment Tracking process is run it is pulling all students, not just the students with changes which creates duplicates if one of the 5 main demographic elements changes between the first submission and the second then you have to submit TIMS tickets to have them remove the duplicate,

    Hello, the idea has been completed in the 09/21/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Assertive Discipline – The Referrer field now uses a Staff ID lookup and saves to a new database field. The old Referrer field will display as “Other” when the new Referrer field is not populated.

    Student Assertive Discipline Record – This report has been adjusted to support the new Staff ID-based Referrer field. Also, when using the “Hide Details” option, there is a new option to “Page Break on Each Student”.

    Discipline Letter to Parent – This report has been adjusted to support the new Staff ID-based Referrer field.

    Suspension Letter to Parent – This report has been adjusted to support the new Staff ID-based Referrer field.

  18. Add the number of classes requested on the course request page

    Please add the total number of classes requested on the course request page. It is really hard to see if a student is missing a class or has too many unless a report is made. I like to flip through my students page by page and it would help tremendously if I knew the amount of classes they had requested. Thanks!

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 1/26/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes: Course Requests and Classes - A summary of the student's Total Courses and Total Credits by Term is now displayed. Repeated courses are only counted once per term.

  19. Import Test Results - Update Import for 2021-22 Interim Assessment Test Parts

    The CAASPP Interim Assessment data files now include "(FIAB)" at the end of the Focused IAB AssessmentName (ex. "Grade 5 ELA - Listen/Interpret (FIAB)"). Update Import Test Results to recognize these test parts and add in the new test parts for 2021-22.

  20. Staff Page - Sort classes by period

    On the Staff page, have the ability to sort the teacher's classes by period time. Currently the classes are set up to sort alpha, not by time / chronological. This is problematic for flex scheduling where the sort order of period names are alphanumeric.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 9/17/24. Here are the relevant revision notes: 

    • School Info > Staff - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following were added and changed in the Scheduling Master Schedule Classes and Master Schedule Classes sections. See Flex Scheduling - Staff Data.
    • The Per (Period) column is now sorted by term, start time, then short title.
    • A Total Stu field was added for each section which displays the Total from Scheduling Master (SMS.TS) or Master Schedule (MST.TS). 
    • The Max Seats field was added for each section which displays the Max (maximum students) from Scheduling Master (SMS.MX) or Master Schedule (MST.MX).
    • If Total Stu exceeds Max, the Total Stu value is displayed in bold red font.
    • A Total Sections count was added to the subtotal footer row which displays the total number of sections for the staff member.
