Weekly Instructional Minutes sometimes hides sections
Weekly Instructional Minutes Certification display hides weeks when certain date ranges are selected, but displays them within a different date range.

Section data was not displayed for sections whose CAR and MST Start and End Date Range started before the selected start date and ended before the selected end date, fixed.

On Grades by Teacher page on Mass Add Values add an option to be able to mass add academic mark.
3 votesHello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 4/30/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
When Allow Teachers to Mass Fill GRD Marks is enabled on Portal Options, teachers can update the Grade Mark during the Mass Add Values process. After selecting Edit All Records then Mass Add Values, the pop-up window now includes the Grade Mark drop-down field. If there are multiple reporting periods open at the same time (rare case), the Which Mark drop-down field is displayed and defaults to the Current Marking Period. -
New Parent Portal - Have messages display at the top of the page for parents and students
New Parent Portal - Have messages display at the top of the page for parents and students. The message widget can be moved to the top by the logged in parent or student but we need a school or district option to set the widget locations for all parents and students.

STU.DE should be Total Days Enrolled not just current enrollment
STU.DE only captures current enrollment and can differ from AHS.EN which is Total Days enrolled for the year

Update STU Code Descriptions to align with CALPADS
The code descriptions for STU.SWR & STU.EOY need to be updated for the following codes: E450, E400, E140. The descriptions currently do not match the CALPADS definitions. Therefore we continue to have the clerks code elementary students with the 450 code, and the others are also used for the incorrect age of the student.
We have updated our code table for ATT.RS to reflect the correct descriptions, but are unable to update the codes in STU.

Also, Fixed Code Description changed for Exit Code 450 to now display as: PreK Exit. Please note that this change to Fixed Codes for all the new descriptions works for all areas using Fixed Codes throughout the system. -
API POST records in WRL
Regarding Gradebook pass-back into Aeries Gradebooks from Canvas, shouldn't there be a record of the transaction (presumably a POST record as opposed to all the GET records) for these transactions?
Programming: Addressing issue (no ETA at this time)The only POST records I see in the WRL table are from a VND and TYP named, "Olympus." This name does not appear on my API security list. Can you clarify what this is?

Mobile Parent Portal Attendance Page
There is currently no Attendance Key. Also, "Present" code is in red and parents are confused by the color. They automatically assume is Absent. Perhaps changing it to green?

The parents will be able to pick up this new feature to the Mobile Portal Attendance page by updating their Mobile Portal App from either the AppStore or the PlayStore. Weekly Engagement Report error for Elem w/MST Daily ATT
For Elem w/MST using Daily Attendance, on the Instructional Minutes Certification page, all the departmentalized sections appear for the teacher to certify. However on the Weekly Engagement Report, only the section taking Daily Attendance is visible. All the sections need to appear on the report.

Weekly Instructional Minutes-Need to modify when sections are visible
Several issues with the display of sections for Weekly Instructional Minutes. It may be analyzing CAR to see if there are students in the class, but not analyzing the dates to see if they fall within that specific week.
1) Sections appearing for teacher before they actually begin (Spring sections showing in Fall)
2) Students starting midweek are not triggering the section to show.
3) Elementary without master schools also having issue with students not appearing in the prior weeks when they change teachers. Need to analyze dates in the ATT table for straight elementary schools.

SELA Conflict Report-Fix ADEL issue
SELA Conflict Report is not recognizing the date in the EL Start date field as being the one to compare to what is in the EAD field that came from CALPADS.

Weekly Engagement Report - Shade or otherwise indicate NA days
Many of our classes don't meet every day. If on the weekly engagement report there was some indication that a class doesn't meet on certain days, our staff wouldn't need to lookup class times/days every time they process a report, saving a ton of time and worry. Even just a "---" dash or other symbol would make it look less like something is missing as opposed to not required.
