With the current view the search takes up the entire top portion of the screen and you have to scroll down to see the actual course. We also don't need to see low/high grade or credits in the search.

The previous view had the search to the side of the course so that the details of the course were front and center. I could type in a letter to show just the courses that started with that letter and then scroll through the list to see where I could add a new course. It is critical to keep courses grouped together for ease of scheduling and course selection. There is no scroll capability in the new view, making it more time consuming to use the form.

Once the school year begins situations arise where an exclusion from a student, period, or teacher are required. This can become a legal issue if there isn't an ability to take care of this in Aeries where it is visible to those with access to the scheduling screens.

Events happen throughout the school year which require exclusions to be added for students. It is unrealistic to expect all exclusions to be known during scheduling.

The students are listed alpha by last name under Manage Students in Gradebooks, and they are listed alpha by last name under Attendance. The seating chart and attendance by photo should be consistent with the way Aeries lists students on other pages. This will help our teachers tremendously. Thank you.

Thank you, Heidi, for stressing the importance of the Income Survey in Aeries Air for CEP districts. This will be life changing for the way that we do business in our district.

Thank you for your feedback, and please tell us more. Why would you not want to collect the student’s nickname? Please use the comments to elaborate.

Legal names are reported to CALPADS and used for testing in TOMS. Legal names have to be used on the transcript for college applications. We work hard to ensure that our data is clean and accurate. It would be nice to have the option to turn this feature on or off in the Aeries Air admin settings.

The nickname goes into the Alias field, which we use for name changes, like adoptions. We have changed our procedures for legal names and legal name changes since we submitted this request. We would like the option in Aeries Air admin to turn on or off adding nicknames.
