    Hello, This was completed in the Aeries update on 8/25/2022.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    CALPADS Extracts - The SPRG extract now provides multiple extract files consolidated into a single zip file due to import process changes made by CALPADS. The sub-files are pre-pended with a three-digit number indicating the order in which they should be uploaded (e.g., 001, 002, 003, etc.)

  2. Students with Incomplete Class Schedules: update for Flex

    In some Flex schools, where the schedule is not complex and/or parallels the traditional 0-9 periods, this report would still be useful to find students who are missing section(s) in their schedule. Could the report be updated to work with Flex, even if the user had to input which Flex Periods or time range and which students to evaluate? Or could the report produce a list of students who have a 15/20/30/60 minute gap in their schedule? Or could this information be provided in some other way?

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that additional work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 3/11/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    Reports > Scheduling > Print Students with Incomplete Class Schedules (Flex): In Flex schools, this report has been adjusted to assist in identifying time gaps in the student's scheduled classes that might indicate their schedule is incomplete. The report now supports SMS/SSS option for identifying incomplete course requests. See Students with Incomplete Class Schedules (Flex)

  3. CALPADS SPRG ODS Delete File is Failing

    Since the CALPADS Post Redesign, the SPRG ODS Extract requested from CALPADS is missing the Academic Year and is causing the Aeries Delete files to fail when submitting to CALPADS. This is CALPADS Known Issue #6050. Programming will adjust the Aeries SPRG ODS Reconciliation Delete files and add the Academic Year to prevent the CALPADS Failed message and allow the records to post.

    CALPADS Extracts - For California customers, the SPRG ODS Reconciliation Delete transaction file was being rejected by CALPADS due to a missing Academic Year field, fixed.

  8. Remove the SAT/ACT test results from the 2022-23 UC/CSU Eligibility Requirements.

    Update the College Entrance Requirements page and the UC/CSU Eligibility reports with the 2022-23 UC/CSU requirements. Remove the SAT/ACT test results from the eligibility requirements.

    Discipline Dashboard - The Total Number of Incidents by Race/Ethnicity graph now displays Texas Race and Ethnicity codes.

  10. Select Periods for MST Board Report

    Allow the ability to select which period to display on the MST Board report. Currently, this is based on a start time - but allowing districts to select which periods to print can display the primary MST schedule and allow the second page to be the unique flex periods.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/2/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Scheduling Process > Flex SMS Board - At schools using Flex Scheduling, the Flex Periods to Print button is now displayed instead of the Start Time drop-down option. The new button opens a list of existing Flex periods, including title and start/end times, allowing the user to select up to ten periods to print. This feature is also available when using the Print Board button on the Flex MST Board page.

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 06/22/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • The Transitional Kindergarten grade level (TK) was added to Grade Level translations. A warning message is displayed if the translation does not apply to the school year in which the user is logged in. https://support.aeries.com/support/solutions/articles/14000067780-calpads-extracts-code-translations-tab
    • Effective July 1, 2023, the SPRG extract no longer auto-generates program records with code 185 for Transitional Kindergarten as of a 2023-2024 database.

    Hello, this issue has been resolved in the 9/21/2023 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    College Entrance Requirements - For California users, the Print Summary button has been renamed to Print College Entrance Req Status.

  15. Add option to display Staff ID on specific Flex scheduling reports

    On several reports (such as SMS/MST reports), it displays the Staff ID first and then the teacher last name, first name.

    Because our district uses a long staff id number, it only leaves a few letters of a teacher's name displaying making it very difficult to identify which teacher it is referring to without looking up a Staff Id #.

    Since the display fields on some reports are limited - can the Staff Last Name be displayed FIRST, and the staff Id# at the end?

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 2/11/25 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Flex Scheduling Reports - The following Flex Scheduling reports now display a new Staff ID option. When deselected, this option will not print the Staff ID on the report. Also, the Days column on the reports have been renamed Calendar.

  20. FAFSA Completion Recording to Comply with CA State Law

    California is now requiring schools to have students completed the FAFSA or get a waiver or opt out form signed by the parent. We would love to see a spot built in to the counseling area to record that a student has completed this or that an opt out form is on file. If we could upload that signed form too, that would be a huge bonus.
