This clarification message was added to the SUN Bucks communcation pieced linked earlier, so we are adding it here to maintain consistency as to our plans:

There seems to still be some confusion, so we are clarifying out intended actions, as many comments added to this idea cover a wide variety of requests:
We are planning development during the current quarter to make specific upgrades to allow recording in Aeries which students were designated as Free or Reduced based on the UBA (and not the NSLP Application) via a new Source Code. Also, in the same way that districts can make the NSLP application available for download in the parent portal, a customized UBA could also be uploaded into the Parent Portal so they can access it to fill out.
The actual collecting of the UBA, analyzing the responses, assigning the status to a student, and conducting audits would…

I was asked to share this as feedback as sites see how many parents are just missing the last step. Seems like if this many individuals can't complete the last step, then Aeries really has a system that isn't efficient or straightforward.
While Aerie's solution is to emulate a parent/guardian, it is not a solution. This is sensitive data we are asking parents/guardians to confirm and we should not have to be in a position to have to do it for them, nor do we have the extra time.
Super frustrating for the families, the sites and staff trying to support to support them during the data confirmation process.

HI Aeries, Is there any plans to get this completed? We REALLY needs this implemented ASAP for the upcoming school year. It takes a lot of extra time by staff to chase families to click the final box and it is not a very good first impression and very frustrating to families that are just getting exposed to Aeries.
