    • Student Import - Users can now extract a list of incoming registrations by clicking the Export to Excel button. - See Aeries Online Enrollment Importing Students
    • The Registration Date can be formatted in Excel to include the time of day when the registration was completed. The default format is MM/DD/YYYY, but the user can change the column format in Excel to use a custom format such as MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS.
  3. Master Schedule Error Report - section does not have a Primary Teacher

    Create a master schedule error report, or create a default data validation to identify sections that do not have a primary teacher associated with them.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed, and it was released to customers on 9/10/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    Scheduling > Scheduling Master Schedule Error Report (Flex): A new report option, Print MST Errors, was added to identify errors in the MST table. When Print MST Errors option is selected, the report header will display Master Schedule Error Report (Flex). The following error validations will apply:

    • Missing Flex Period: Section is missing MST.FSQ.
    • Invalid Flex Period: Flex Period does not match the school year based on LOC.E.
    • Missing Class Calendar: Section is missing MST.CSQ.
    • Invalid Class Calendar: Class Calendar does not match the school year based on LOC.E.
    • Missing Primary Teacher: No SSE record with PR = 1.

  4. Independent Study Signatures/Alert for New Signature Requires

    Allow for Aeries.net users to also E-Sign as well as parents.

    Have some sort of way to alert a user/parent that they have a new signature required for I/S. A Portal banner message with a link or a way for us to customize the banner, or a way for us to email pending signatures to teachers/parents.

    Have an audit page for school office staff to track all their pending/active I/S.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 10/26/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Independent Study – A “Send a Reminder” button is available to notify parents, students, or staff to sign Independent Study Agreement documents. A confirmation email notification will be sent when a document has been digitally signed. The emails are drafted in English and Spanish. Two new Portal Teacher URL fields have been added to the School Options page in District to be used with “Send a Reminder” email for signatories. See Independent Study Agreements documentation.

  7. UID-Enrollment Tracking pulling all students

    When the Enrollment Tracking process is run it is pulling all students, not just the students with changes which creates duplicates if one of the 5 main demographic elements changes between the first submission and the second then you have to submit TIMS tickets to have them remove the duplicate,

    Hello, the idea has been completed in the 09/21/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Assertive Discipline – The Referrer field now uses a Staff ID lookup and saves to a new database field. The old Referrer field will display as “Other” when the new Referrer field is not populated.

    Student Assertive Discipline Record – This report has been adjusted to support the new Staff ID-based Referrer field. Also, when using the “Hide Details” option, there is a new option to “Page Break on Each Student”.

  10. Add the number of classes requested on the course request page

    Please add the total number of classes requested on the course request page. It is really hard to see if a student is missing a class or has too many unless a report is made. I like to flip through my students page by page and it would help tremendously if I knew the amount of classes they had requested. Thanks!

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 1/26/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes: Course Requests and Classes - A summary of the student's Total Courses and Total Credits by Term is now displayed. Repeated courses are only counted once per term.

  11. Import Test Results - Update Import for 2021-22 Interim Assessment Test Parts

    The CAASPP Interim Assessment data files now include "(FIAB)" at the end of the Focused IAB AssessmentName (ex. "Grade 5 ELA - Listen/Interpret (FIAB)"). Update Import Test Results to recognize these test parts and add in the new test parts for 2021-22.

  12. Staff Page - Sort classes by period

    On the Staff page, have the ability to sort the teacher's classes by period time. Currently the classes are set up to sort alpha, not by time / chronological. This is problematic for flex scheduling where the sort order of period names are alphanumeric.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 9/17/24. Here are the relevant revision notes: 

    • School Info > Staff - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following were added and changed in the Scheduling Master Schedule Classes and Master Schedule Classes sections. See Flex Scheduling - Staff Data.
    • The Per (Period) column is now sorted by term, start time, then short title.
    • A Total Stu field was added for each section which displays the Total from Scheduling Master (SMS.TS) or Master Schedule (MST.TS). 
    • The Max Seats field was added for each section which displays the Max (maximum students) from Scheduling Master (SMS.MX) or Master Schedule (MST.MX).
    • If Total Stu exceeds Max, the Total Stu value is displayed in bold red font.
    • A Total Sections count was added to the subtotal footer row which displays the total number of sections for the staff member.

  13. Transcripts - Editing occasionally produces "Column 'PID' does not belong to table dtOUT" error message

    Error message "Column 'PID' does not belong to table dtOUT" sometimes received when editing certain transcript records. Unable to save edits for that transcript record. Unclear what it is tied to, because appearing on only some records for some students.

  15. Add Final Average to Grade Report Mark Verification Listing

    Add a final average to the Grade Report Mark Listing for teachers to be able to verify the student's final grade. This is used at our district for pass/fail indicators and grade promotion. The final average would average the 1st. semester grade and 2nd. semester grade.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 4/29/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    Reports > Grades > Grade Report Mark Verification Listing by Service ID:

    This report is available for schools with a final yearly grade mark defined. The report provides all student grades earned for courses with the same service id for the entire year. This enables teachers to validate the final year grade mark reported on students final report card.   16. Create CALPADS SPRG 185 Records for TK from Student TK Grade Enrollment instead of PGM

    Using PGM to generate SPRG 185 records for TK students is redundant as Aeries already has the -1 grade level for TK students. Adjust the CALPADS SPRG extract to process student ATT/ENR data for the TK Grade Level to generate SPRG 185 records. PGM 185 could still remain and continue to work, but schools should have the option to not use PGM.

    In a Flex Daily Section Staff school using Primary Class Tracking, allow a non-Primary Teacher to Load Grades from Gradebook from a shared gradebook. Currently they can only load their own gradebooks into Standard Based Grades

    Standards Based Grades By Teachers - The Load From Gradebook function can now by used by any teacher allowed to enter grades for a section in Staff Section and primary class tracking schools.

    Be able to capture health insurance information and to populate the fields for Health Insurance Name and Student Medical Record Number/Policy Number in the Medical Insurance Page in Parent Data Confirmation.

    Hello, this work item has been completed in stages and was released into production. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    •  Parent Data Confirmation: Districts now have the option to allow/require parents to enter insurance information during the Parent Data Confirmation process. 
    • Portal Options > Parent Data Changing > Insurance Info: An alert message has been added when Require Insurance Info checkbox is selected and saved but the Parent Group does not have Read, Insert, and Update permission to the Medical Insurance Info (MII) security area.
