  1. Allow Dual Credit courses to be flagged as a Distance Learning course

    When a course is set to Dual Credit (course level 23 or 24) allow the Distance Learning indicator and Online Course Instr Type to be populated by the LEA for CALPADS CRSC file. Remove the hard-coded "N" logic for DL Indicator.

    Hello, this issue has been resolvedin the 5/11/2023 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    CALPADS (CRSC Extract) - For college level courses (Type 23 or 24), the values for Distance Learning Indicator and Online Course Instruction Type are now extracted according to MST.DLI and MST.OIT settings rather than hard coded.

  2. Add LANG-99 to hard-coded values in Courses > California Specific Fields > Crs Content Subcategory

    In Courses > California Specific Fields > Crs Content Subcategory, add LANG-99 (from the CALPADS Code Sets) to the hard-coded choices in the dropdown menu.

    CALPADS Extracts - For California users, the Course Content Subcategory (CRS.CSC) code for LANG-99 was not displayed on Master Schedule and Courses pages, fixed.

  5. CERS Student Groups - User Interface Issues

    The CERS Student Groups page has several user interface issues that need to be addressed: indicate when the page is saved, refresh the page after a new profile is created, indicate when the user has selected too many teachers or additional users to save in the system, allow users to see the selected profile settings in Read mode, Allow users to view Extract Configuration Options for a saved Profile without going into Edit mode. allow more than 30 teachers and the Only Show Staff From Selected Schools does not display the staff when logged in at the District level.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 3/3/2023 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Manage Grading Snapshot - The Active Gradebook Entries Only option is now available under the Manage Grading Snapshot section. Selecting this option will exclude gradebooks that the student in no longer active in from the snapshot calculations. Using this option when calculating the Grading Snapshot will ensure that the Grade Report card will only display grading snapshot marks for the gradebooks that the student is active in.   7. User account (UGN) Cleanup during NYR Process

    Assess Last Login Date/Time for all User accounts in UGN and during the NYR process and Disable any that have been unused for prior school year, or specific period of time.

    Gradebook Details does not display number possible for Teachers/Parents/Students for 'GRD' gradebooks in schools that are doing both Standards Based Grade Reporting and Grade Reporting and have the Portal Option 'DisplayMarksOnlyForSBGGradesAndGradebooks' set.

    Hello, this issue has been resolved in the 5/27/22 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    Assertive Discipline - As of the May 26th version some student's Assertive Discipline records would fail to load, fixed.

    When using flex and looking up a teachers sections, there is no distinction between inactive and active sections. Add the STF table to the Status Code Color Assignments.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and released to customers on the 3/11/2025 update. Here is the relevant revision note:


    Grade Reporting > Configurations > Grading Periods: A grading period for the Year may now be created to calculate a final year grade based other grade marks for any courses with the same service id within the year, including semester courses. See Texas - Final Yearly Grade Mark documentation.


  13. Generate Report Card History - Add support for Flex Section Staff and Primary Class Tracking

    The long-running process for Generate Report Card History is not creating all records in the RCH table for all students that have a report card printed. The code is still referring to TCH and TN in a Flex Scheduling school and needs to change to using Staff ID for Section Staff.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/30/24 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Student Data > Programs > Language Assessment - If a student has a language code in Online Enrollment but language codes are blank on the Language Assessment page, the language codes from Online Enrollment will now be imported and populate the language fields on the Language Assessment page. See Aeries Online Enrollment Importing Students.

    Language Assessment - The State Tests tab is now available, allowing maintenance of testing information related to language program participation.

    Test Scores - The LAS, PRELAS, TELPAs and TELPAS A tests were added to the list of available tests.

  17. Allow Flex Periods and Class Calendar to have Linking Capability

    Linking the Flex Periods and Flex Calendars so that when selecting one the other is attached. Districts could link or choose not to link based on how they are building their schedules. This just makes good sense and eliminates repetitious data entry.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 07/30/24. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Attendance Accounting > Configuration > Flex Periods - The Associated Class Calendar field was added allowing users to associate a Flex period with a class calendar within the same school year. This new field was added for future development that will be used in conjunction with the Scheduling Master Schedule page. See Flex Scheduling - Flex Periods.

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 12/21/2022 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
    Attendance Based Grade Reporting - The Add credit denied due to excessive absences comment to the report card option was added allowing a 99-Credit Denied comment to be displayed on the Grades pages and report card when a student has a passing grade but was not awarded credit. When enabled, the code populates GRD.C1, GRD.C2, or GRD.C3 for the selected students.

    Weekly Progress - Adjust the Email and Text Message ParentSquare feature to Hide/Show scores based on Gradebook Options and Portal Options, for the following items:

    • Weekly Progress Report - The email message now honors the Show Final Mark To Parent Student and Hide Overall Score From Parent Student options as set on the Gradebook Options page.
    • Progress by Student - The gradebook report now honors the Hide Overall Score options as set on the Gradebook Options page.
    • Weekly Progress - For Aeries Communications customers, the Email now honors the Portal Option Only Show Check Marks for Assignment Scores to Parents and Students.
