    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/2/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    CA:

    Reports > Home Language Survey - The report was added to provide a printable copy of the Home Language Survey questions and answers from online enrollment (LAC.L1, LAC.L3, LAC.L2, LAC.L4) along with legal instructions and electronic signature. The electronic signature is populated from the Survey Completed By (LAC.HCB) and Survey Completed Date (LAC.HLD) fields on the Language Assessment page. A report option allows you to print only surveys that are signed or not signed. The report can be printed in English or Spanish languages. See Home Language Survey Report

  6. Gradebook - Adjust Start and End Dates When Using Grading Periods

    In a school that uses Grading Periods and has the School Option "Use Grading Periods Instead of Terms in GBK" checked, when a teacher Adds a new Gradebook and selects sections that include two or more terms, then the Gradebook Start Date should be the earliest start date of the selected sections, and the Gradebook End Date should be the latest end date of the selected sections.

    Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 09/10/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Gradebook: When adding a new gradebook in a school that uses Grading Periods, if the teacher selects classes from several terms, then the Gradebook Start Date and Gradebook End Date will encompass all terms that were selected. This will allow the Add/Drop Students button to appear on the Gradebook Dashboard and the Edit Gradebooks > Manage Students pages.

    Allow for Preschool Grade Levels Other Than -2. Some districts use grades > 13 to identify Preschool students. In Texas both grades -1 and -2 may include preschool students as defined by CRDC guidelines.

    Student Data > Demographics > (Export) - The TREx AAR Transcript and TREx Student Record exports are now generated using the latest TREx schema version provided by the TEA (1.35).

  10. CALPADS SSID Import Error Email

    As of the 3/30/2023 Aeries update, an error email is generating when using the Aeries Load Identifier process and when not using the new Aeries SSID Match process. The 2nd email should not be sent when loading identifiers.

    School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts - 

    Identifiers: Enhancements were made to allow districts that manually load the SSID file without utilizing the SSID Match tool process to proceed without receiving an error message email. 

  11. Edit the "Has this student previously attended a public school in California?" so that parents are aware Headstart and PreK not included

    During the Language questionnaire portion of Online Enrollment, we noticed that parents of TK/K students would answer yes to "Has this student previously attended a public school in California" because the student attended HeadStart or PreK. That means they are not filling out the HLS and now we have to reach out to get them to fill it out. We could turn the feature off as a district, but we were hoping to utilize it for all other grade levels.

    Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 8/12/25. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Online Enrollment > Prior Public School Enrollment Question: The question regarding prior public school enrollment previously lacked clarity and did not specify the grade range. This could lead to inconsistent data entry and confusion for users completing the form. The question has now been updated to explicitly reference the TK–12 grade range, ensuring better alignment with reporting requirements and user expectations.

The new code value assigned by CALPADS is 102 with an effective date of July 1, 2022 so that it may be used RETROACTIVELY for students who exited in the 2022–2023 academic year with the new diploma.

    • Student Data > Other > Siblings:
    • The page now supports Flex Daily school using Primary Class Tracking. The Counselor label has been renamed Primary Teacher. The Room number will now reference the field stored in the Staff > Scheduling Info table. See Siblings Overview.

     Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 02/29/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > Texas State Reporting - The PEIMS Discipline extract only extracted the SSSP Team Review element (E1734)  if the SSSP Team Review Date (ADS.SDT) was  populated and the SSSP Team Review (ADS.SSP) field was set to Y or N. Now the element is always extracted and displays 1 if ADS.SSP is populated with Y; otherwise 0.  See StudentDiscipline Interchange - Field Mapping and Rules.

  18. Sort Report Card History by Date

    Default sort Report Card History by Date.

    By default, RCH sorts by Year descending, Term # descending, School # and Type. We just posted summer school report cards to report card history and parents are overlooking the report card because the most recent report card is in the middle of the page.

    Would love to have an option to default by date.
