  1. Parent Portal - View All RCH Records

    Student portal accounts have access to all years of Report Card History records, but parent portal accounts can access only the current year. Can this be changed, please, so that parents also have access to all years of their students' RCH?

  2. SBG Additional RCH.TY or RCH.RPT options

    For Standards Based Grading, Report Card History does not permit additional Report Card Types (Only "Standard Based Grades" is available). Please allow for additional RCH.TY and/or RCH.RPT (Report Card Titles) to be used for Standards Based Grades. This will allow sites to use alternate titles like "Progress Reports" similar to how GRD grade reporting is done.

  3. Test Settings API - Update Descriptions on 2 Mouse Pointer Dropdown Items and Add CSA Checkbox for Braille

    The TOMS Test Settings > Mouse Pointer dropdown lists "Extra Large, Black Mouse Pointer" in the dropdown list 3 times. One of those mislabeled items should be "Extra Large, Red Mouse Pointer" and the other should be "Extra Large, Yellow Mouse Pointer"

    Add a checkbox for CSA for the Embedded Accommodations > Braille

     Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 02/20/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Student Transcript - The Student Transcripts had the potential to generate an error when none of the courses in the Course table were flagged with Algebra 1 Requirement Met and the Transcript Style was set to Enhanced (1-Column) in Transcript Definitions.

  5. SBG Load from Gradebook - Treat Blank in SSE Gradebook Permission as F-Full

    Issue: When Section Staff is used, teachers (primary and non-primary) need to have "Full" Gradebook Permissions in the SSE record (SSE.GBP) in order to Load Grades from Gradebook when adding Standards Based Grades to the Report Cards. If they merely have a blank in SSE.GBP then the Gradebooks will not be listed in Step 2 of the Load Grades from Gradebook process.

    Scheduling Process > Configurations > Update Course Request Options - The message in the yellow box incorrectly referenced CRS date range. The message now references CRS grade range.

  9. UC ELC - TES Extract - Option to include Graduated Seniors

    Every fall the TES extract needs to be run in the prior year database to gather all of the 9th-12th grade transcript records for that year. Currently the TES extract only includes the records of active students. Please add an option to include students with certain inactive statuses, such as "Graduated".

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 07/20/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Career Pathways - For Texas users, the Career Pathways, Career Pathways Mass Add Events, Career Pathways Management, and Career Pathway Extract Files pages have been hidden, pending adjustments to enhance use.

  13. Scheduling Setup and Track Primary Classes option

    Currently the Scheduling Setup page allows the user to select "Track Primary Classes for Students for Next Year" without having the "Use Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking" Feature Flag turned on even though that setting is required to use Primary Class Tracking on the School Options page.
    Add a Check for the Staff ID Based Counselor setting when using the Track Primary Classes for Student for Next Year option.
    Also Add a Tool Tip message that says "In order to use this option, the Staff ID Based Counselor Feature Flag must be enabled."

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 11/19/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    Scheduling Process > Configurations > Scheduling Setup - For schools using Flex Scheduling, when selecting Track Primary Classes for Students for Next Year, Aeries now checks that the Use Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking feature flag is enabled. If enabled, the user can select that scheduling option. If not enabled, the scheduling option cannot be selected, and a message is displayed when the user hovers over the tooltip notifying the user that the Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking Feature Flag must be enabled. See Converting from Elementary to Flex Next Year or Flex Scheduling Setup.

    Ed-Fi Code Mappings - Codes for Academic Subject Descriptor (CRS.S1) can now be mapped to local subject codes based on graduation requirements (REQ).

  17. Scheduling Master Schedule Board report: add visual cue for Class Linked sections

    On the Flex SMS Board, a visual cue is displayed to highlight sections with Class Links. It would be nice if Class Linked sections were identified in some way on the Scheduling Master Schedule Board report. At minimum, a cell border. If the Class Link number could fit, that would be great.

    View All Reports > Scheduling Master Schedule Board report: This report now includes an option to Include Class Link (SMS.CL) to the printed report.

    Scheduling Process > Flex SMS Board: When clicking the Print button, the report will now include the Class Link values stored in SMS.CL.
