    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/16/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts 

    • The Student Incident Result extract (SIRS) now only extracts Incident Authority Code and Incident Duration Days when the Disposition Code is 100, 110, or 200. See EOY Discipline Files or CALPADS in Aeries Basics - Assertive Discipline.
    • For the CRSE and CRSC extracts, the State Course codes list was updated to include Cambridge World Languages which now support extracting the Course Content Area subcategory.

    Hello, this item has been completed and shipped in the update 7/2/2024. Here are the Release Notes:

    School Info > Imports and Exports > Texas State Reporting (Child Find) - The most recent enrollment was extracted for the StateOrganizationId element, which excluded the school of evaluation for students who switched schools. The StateOrganizationId now extracts the Campus ID of Evaluation.

  3. Master Schedule - Update yellow message in Flex schools when in Edit mode

    Update the existing yellow note present on the Master Schedule page when in Edit mode so that it applies to the flex scheduling experience.

  4. CCGI Extract - Do Not Include Concurrent Enrollment Students in StudentTemplate File

    Adjust the CCGI Extract to handle concurrent enrollment records in this manner for the extracted files:
    StudentTemplate - include students once with their primary enrollment school
    TestGradeTemplate - include students once with each of their college test score records
    CourseGradeTemplate - include students once with each of their transcript records AND include students with each of their work in progress (i.e., current classes) records regardless of enrollment status

    Sorry for the late notice, but this work item was released to our customers back in May of 2024. Here are the relevant Revision Notes:

    • School Info > Imports and Exports > CCGI Extract - For students concurrently enrolled in more than one school, the extract now associates students only with their primary enrollment school in the StudentTemplate and TestGradeTemplate files, but includes all of their work-in-progress classes from primary and secondary enrollment schools in the CourseGradeTemplate file.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 9/24/24. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    • Student Data > Other > Activities and Awards - The Reason drop-down list now includes the latest AP and IB exam codes based on the TC36 code table in the TREx Data Standards.


  6. Ed-Fi - allow separate security grouping

    Ed-Fi work requires an admin account. Please add a separate security group to allow non- users to modify/setup Ed-Fi. There are often 3rd party consultants working on this, so giving them admin is not optimal.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/30/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Reports > Scheduling Course Request Listing - The CRS# columns now accommodate courses with up to six characters. The Gender column was removed to accommodate the change.

  8. Teacher Portal Default View - Class Summary

    The default sort order upon logging into the teacher portal doesn't match the programmed "Default" that is listed when the Reset to Default button is pressed. Therefore the user would have to manually set this order themselves to have the Class Summary at the top of the page.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 08/13/24. Here are the relevant revision notes: 

    • Aeries Teacher Portal > Homepage - For teachers without permission to the User Account Options (UAO) table, the default display order of the widgets did not match the default order. Now the widgets are initially displayed in the default order, and can be reset to the default order anytime the teacher clicks Reset to Default in the Widget Settings menu. See Aeries Home.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 3/12/2024 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    School Info > Imports and Exports > Import Test Results - The file layout for the STAAR EOC was updated according to the 2023-2024 requirements as follows. See Test Specific Information - STAAR EOC/STAAR EOC Alternate 2.

    • The STAAR EOC option in the drop-down list now includes the 2023-2024 school year.
    • The TX Unique Student ID field was renamed to TSDS ID.
    • The option Word Prediction was added to the Testing Exclusions - Problem field, and Spelling Assistance was renamed to Spell Check (TEX.PRB).
    • The Exclude Test option (code 0) was added as a Performance Level Indicator (TST.PI), and code 99 was added for N/A.

  10. Update the Test Settings page and the State Testing Export Files page to honor the 2023-24 CAASPP and ELPAC Student Test Settings.

  11. SSID MATCH TOOL PROCESS DOWNLOAD FILE NEEDS ADJUSTING TO ALIGN WITH CALPADS 23-24 changes

    The logic in the SSID Match process is using the SENR layout when the file is produced which needs to be updated to align with the CALPADS 23-24 rollover changes that went into effect on 9/19/2023. The file being produced needs an additional column added to accommodate the STU.GEX field.

    We would like to know if the student IDs and DoB can be added to the pre-built Home Language Survey report, not a query, either by Aeries or by end users.

    Please adjust the state-defined reports to include Stu ID and Birthdate
    Also modify footer to "Based on: "...the state reports (CA and TX)

    Hello, this idea has been completed in the 05/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • For the STAAR EOC test, the EL Performance Measure field (TST.ELP) was added according to the 2023-2024 file layout.


    Student Data > Test Scores > Test Scores - For the STAAR EOC test, the EL Perf Level field (TST.ELP) was added allowing schools to maintain English Learner Performance Measure data according to the 2023-2024 file layout.


    Test Scores (TST) - Added new EL Performance Level (ELP) field.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Student Data > Guidance > Victims - The Gender Identity field (VIC.BG) was added to the Victims table and is displayed under Basis of Harassment. The field can be used to track students who are victims of gender identity harassment and will be used in the future for the 2023-2024 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) submission.

  18. LTEL Import Process Changes

    The Long-Term English Learner (LTEL) file from the California Department of Education has changed as of May 12th, 2023 The file is unable to be processed in Aeries in the CALPADS Extracts - LTEL Import function.
    It appears that the layout did not change but the Status code in the file for field 8 has changed for At Risk students.

    Previously the code was "AtRisk", in the new files the code is "AR-LTEL".
    Programming will be updating the LTEL Import process to support the new At Risk code.

  19. Parent Portal - View All RCH Records

    Student portal accounts have access to all years of Report Card History records, but parent portal accounts can access only the current year. Can this be changed, please, so that parents also have access to all years of their students' RCH?
