  2. CALPADS SSID Replacement File - remove hidden filler column

    Update the file layout to remove the hidden 'filler' column in column 6. The SSID Replacement file should only contain 5 columns. See CALPADS document.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 10/15/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    • CALPADS Extracts - The SSID Replacement process was not accepting the Replacement Files due to an extra hidden column used as a filler in Aeries. Now, the process accepts the original file from CALPADS which only contains 5 columns and will load successfully on the SSID Replacement tab.     Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 1/14/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > Escape HR Custom Import - Logging was added to the process in order to allow identification of issues in the import process. The logging includes the scheduled tasks initiation time, task execution steps, the success or failure of each step with detailed error messages for failures, permissions or access issues encountered, network connectivity status during execution, and any anomalies detected.   4. Print Transcript Does Not Honor School Option to Not Automatically Calculate District GPAs

    Since the 12/5/2023 update the Print Transcripts function does not honor the School Option 'Do Not Recompute GPA's and Ranks Automatically'.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Attendance Accounting > Configurations > Attendance History Config

    • Date-time stamps are now provided to indicate when the process started and      completed, whether run manually or nightly.
    • The Update All Schools Now button is now disabled while the process is running, preventing the process from being run multiple times simultaneously. The button becomes available again once the process is completed and the page is refreshed. See Attendance History Configuration.

  8. SINF Extract - Log info or notify user when a student has an error and 'failed' message displays

    When the SINF process runs and a student has a 'failed' message, it displays the 'Failed and Student ID number" until the process finishes then later displays as "Completed" when it's finished. The file is still downloadable and is valid for the customer to use. A solution is needed to better handle when a student has an error and the error needs to be resolved by the customer prior to running the SINF extract again.

  9. CALPADS SPRG ODS - enhance process for FRE records that need to be deleted

    CALPADS SPRG ODS - Enhance the reconciliation process for FRE records that need to be deleted.
    In the SPRG ODS Reconciliation process, the records with a date that started prior to the first day of school but after 6/30 of the previous year are being closed 1 day before the enrollment start date causing the record to receive a GERR0005 error in CALPADS and will not post successfully. LEAs do not have ownership which is causing LEAs to have to manually clean up data, in some cases hundreds of records.

    • The CPRMetDate element was renamed to CPRAEDMetDate due to changes in graduation requirements. The export now includes the CPRAEDMetDate for students who have an Activities and Awards record where the Type field (ACT.TY) is 5 and the Code field (ACT.CD) is G02 or G05, indicating that the student received instruction in both CPR and AED.     • Demographics - When the user clicks the Import button, a pop-up window is no longer displayed providing users the option to import from Online Enrollment or TREx. Now, clicking Import opens the Aeries Online Enrollment - Student List page allowing users to select a student who enrolled via Aeries Online Enrollment. The From TREx option was removed, as this feature is not currently supported. See Demographics.

  19. CALPADS Other Options Race Intentionally left blank should pull for SDEM

    Adjust the SDEM extract to use the 'Race Intentionally Left Blank' option when STF race fields have this designated tag. Currently, the CALPADS option is only used for Students. Adjust this field to honor Staff too.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 12/19/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts (Fall 2 and EOY tabs) (SDEM) - The SDEM extract now honors the “Race Intentionally Left blank indicator” on the CALPADS > Other Options tab. The extract sets the Staff Race Missing Indicator to Y if the Race field on the Staff page (STF.RC1) is set to a code that is translated to 'Race Intentionally Left Blank."  See Race/Ethnicity documentation.
