   For consistency, the same Defined Required Field rules should be enforced across all modules, including Staff Users, PDC, and Online Enrollment. Applying different rules across modules is not practical and can result in incomplete or inconsistent records.

   Definitely, it is critical to have the option to make certain fields mandatory. This will help reduce incomplete records.

    Please review the suggestion in this ticket as a potential solution to this issue:
    Add a status field to CHI table (Course History):

    .
    Adding a Status field with values such as Active and Inactive to the CHI table would help prevent the reuse of invalid entries. Additionally, providing a way to combine or move reference records would greatly facilitate the cleanup of this table. The status field is used in many tables: CRS, TCH, STF.tg, etc.
