    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 3/11/25 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    • Student Data > Grades > CCI Indicator Summary (BETA): This page has been replaced in the navigation tree with the new CCI Student Summary page. Users who have the old page marked as a Favorite will now link to the new page instead. 
    • Student Data > Grades > Student CCI Summary: An updated CCI Student Summary page introduces a new layout to track student readiness within the College or Career indicators, featuring updated terminology, overall status messages with details, status chips displayed within each indicator section, and individual statuses available for each measure.     UPDATE: As of 2/11/2024 the CRDC Extract process has been updated to meet the requirements for the 2021-2022 CRDC Data Collection.  See the Revision notes dated 2/11/2024 for a more thorough explanation of all the changes. Please be sure you are updated to the latest version of Aeries to access these changes.

    NOTE: There are 2 sections where the data is not quite extracting properly, so we are suppressing this data from the extract at this time.

    DISC: Student Discipline (Corporal Punishment, Expulsion, Suspension)

    • DISC-27: School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension

    OFFN: Offenses

    • OFFN-1: Offenses – Number of Incidents

    We will immediately be adjusting the extract further to include these sections, and that work remains our highest priority. However we wanted our Customers to know about the work-around for these sections, if needed:

  4. CA Preschool Data Collection (CAPSDAC) - Extracts Needed

    The 801-A submission is transitioning into CAPSDAC (California Preschool Data Collection System), which is a data collection that merges together the CDD 801a and data submitted to PLIS (Preschool Language Information System) and new fields.

    For the time being, data will be concurrently submitted to the CDD-801A, PLIS and CAPSDAC. Eventually, the CDD-801a and PLIS will be phased out.

    Can the Aeries Early Child Development page be reconfigured to include the 3 extracts needed for the CAPSDAC: Classroom, Staff, and Child information fields?

  5. CALPADS CTE Course Section Provider Code (MST.TEP)

    Per CALPADS Flash #287, field 9.27 - CTE Course Section Provider Code on the Course Section (CRSC) file is no longer being used and has become a “filler” field. Update the logic to exclude data from extracting when field MST.TEP is populated. Remove the green state reporting highlight.

    Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 04/15/25. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    •  TSDS Ed-Fi: The Student Academic Record entity incorrectly sent the IndividualGraduationCommitteeReview data element for all students in grades 9 - 12. The entity now only sends the IndividualGraduationCommitteeReview data element for students in grades 11 and 12.

  9. OneRoster: Limit Extract to include CON Records for Active Students only

    In the Users.csv file produced by the OneRoster v1.1 Configuration's 'Run Now and Email' process, parent (PAT) records are being created even when the agentSourcedIds field is empty. This leads to the creation of unnecessary parent accounts for students who are inactive or no longer enrolled in the district.

    •  School Info > Imports and Exports > OneRoster v1.1 Configuration: 
    • The Users.csv file had been including parent (PAT) records for inactive student records. Now, only records for active students will be included in the extract.

    TSDS Ed-Fi - When resource not found errors occur due to a record being removed from the Ed-Fi ODS externally to Aeries, the Ed-Fi Sync process will now remove the invalid resource id information from EFD and create a new record in the ODS.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 8/27/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts - 

    • The Student Programs extract (SPRG) now includes students with secondary enrollments, in accordance with recent changes to CALPADS requirements. 
    • The Student Programs extract (SPRG) now excludes private schools (i.e., enrollment status = 50), per recent changes to CALPADS requirements. 

  16. CALPADS Fall 2 - Adjust logic for Itinerant Teachers

    In Flex or section staff schools, logic needs to be adjusted to have the Itinerant Teachers be limited to those staff members that are not Primary Teachers or are not Past Primary Teachers. Adjust the CALPADS Fall 2 logic to prevent past primary teachers from being included as itinerant teachers. Currently, we just filter out staff who are primary teachers (SSE.PR=1). We also need to filter out those that were past primary teachers (SSE.PPR=1).

    Fall 2: In Flex or Section Staff only schools, the Itinerant Teacher logic for Fall 2 has been adjusted to no longer extract a record if the Past Primary Teacher is set to ‘Yes’. Now, only staff where the Primary Teacher is unselected (set to No) and the Past Primary Teacher is set to 'No’ will extract as an itinerant section.   17. TX: Ed-Fi - StudentEdOrgAssociation Entity - Student Characteristics Begin Date in Prior Year

    Students with descriptors having a begin date in a prior school year are not extracting and causing the districts to have missing data and/or errors occur in their Fall PEIMS submissions.

    TSDS Ed-Fi - The BasicReportingPeriodAttendance entity included students with a blank Student Unique ID. The entity now omits students with a blank Student Unique ID.



  20. CALPADS SSID Import Issue as of 8/8/2023

    As of 8/8/2023, the CALPADS SSID Extract layout changed and they added a new data element.  This is causing the Aeries SSID Import to not import new SSIDs.
    The Aeries SSID Import process needs to be adjusted for the CALPADS SSID Extract layout change.
