CALPADS-Managing staff for Multi-LEA databases
CALPADS-Allow SDEM extracts to pull school from STJ instead of STF.PSC in certain circumstances, such as when a database holds multiple LEAs and staff may teach at multiple schools in different LEAs.

CALPADS Extracts – The SDEM extract has been adjusted to support new functionality when retrieving the staff’s primary school. On the Other Options tab, if the “Pull County-District Code from School LOC” is selected, the primary school will be evaluated from STJ.SCL rather than STF.PSC. This functionality is intended for charter schools and/or multi-district databases. The option has been renamed to “Pull County-District Code from School LOC records and Pull Primary School from STJ” to reflect the new functionality.

CRDC Course Groupings
I would like to be able to use State Course Codes to group the Courses in addition to selecting individual Course records on the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) setup form. IE: State codes 9255 = Geometry. This would reduce the set-up time.

Civil Rights Data Collection – The Courses tab has been updated to include selections for Computer Science and AP Computer Science. The corresponding calculations have also been updated. Also, added capability to filter by State Course ID (Service ID for Texas users).

Same Name report to include inactive records
We are reviewing our database and finding a ton of records newly imported this year with a new Perm Id that already had an existing Perm id. If the same name report compared active and inactive we could easily catch more of these without such extensive research.

Update US School K-12 Entry Date with Earliest K-12 Date returned by CALPADS SSID Extract
When requesting SSIDs for new students, CALPADS is now returning the Earliest K-12 School entry Date. If the date stored in the US School K-12 Date in the Language Assessment screen is different or blank, update the LAC.USS with the date from CALPADS.
Note this change will not be done until CALPADS resolves Known Issue 5734: SSID Extract pulling most recent enrollment date instead of earliest K-12 enrollment date.

The Summative ELPAC scores are now available for import. Please add the ELPAC Test Results - SY: 2020-21 option to the Import Test Scores pull-down

Summer ELPAC Testing - Create process to run in current year (Before Rollover)
With the changes to TOMS and CALPADS, there is a need to allow the creation of SENR files and SELA records in the current year database to allow testing during the upcoming summer. Currently the process requires waiting until after Rollover process and run it in the new year database.
This solution will leverage the Next School, Next Grade and Next Special Program fields, and create enrollment records using the Next School Start Date from the School Options page. It will be important for schools using this process to have the data in these fields be correct.

CALPADS Extracts – A new tab has been added to host the processes that manage students for Summer ELPAC Testing. These processes will look at ATT to see if it has been initialized. If it has not, it will use the school calendar. If it has been initialized it will create the extracts with the next year information. Attendance Audit Listing lists error AF Student has Course Attendance without Enrollment for each student in Summer School
In Secondary or Elem w/MST Summer Schools, the new version of the report can incorrectly print an AF Student has Course Attendance without Enrollment error. The old version of the report is not printing this error incorrectly.

CALPADS - Extracts need to skip student with only records in Inactives School
Add filtering logic to exclude any student from being included in the extracts if the only student record resides in the school(s) designated on District Settings page as an Inactives School.

Import Data - Add the ability to include Staff ID when importing TCH records
When using the Import Data to Aeries to import TCH records, if Staff ID is included / mapped, the import skips the records. Importing TCH records is successful when the Staff ID field is not included.

Attendance Management-Periods listed for Notes are not matching calendar for date selected if a custom date is assigned
When selecting to Mass Add a note for a date with a bell schedule that is different then the current date, the period selector under Notes is not adjusting to also look at the same bell schedule, it appears to only be looking at the bell schedule for the current date only. Adjust to display the same period list based on Bell Schedule of selected date.

In the Mass Add Attendance notes section, the Period drop-down list for Notes was adjusted to look at the Bell Schedule for the selected date, fixed. -
Transcript - Allow User to Completely Remove Value in Average Mark Field
When the Transcript Average Mark is unlinked or deleted the system will re-populate the field with the value in the Mark field if it is not linked to any other record, or with a recalculated value of the remaining records it is linked with. Customer would like to completely remove the average mark value in a record with no value saved in that field.

Transcripts – Summer schools and summer school terms were being included in mark averaging, fixed. Blank spaces in the repeat tag would prevent mark averaging, fixed. Only local schools are applicable for mark averaging. Records had the potential be added to mark averaging groups when only one of the records had a numeric mark, fixed. -
Immunization - Student Immunization Status Report at the District Level should allow multiple schools selected
Can we have the ability to select multiple schools on the Student Immunization Status Report at the district level? It only allows me to select one school at a time, which defeats the purpose of it being run at the district level.

Calpads Extract EOY
Would it be possible to put the names of the extracts under the "create files" for EOY like you have had in the past? It looks a bit confusing as to which files fall under the current way it's set up.

Add start and end dates to SSE table
It would be extremely helpful to capture start and end dates for staff members under section staff members on a class section. This would help with identifying which teacher was in the classroom on a specific day and when the new teacher/sub took their place.

Immunizations Report show legal name
The Immunizations Report and blue card doesn't show the legal name but it is being requested for legal purposes. Can it default to legal name or have an option to print it with the legal name?

Student Immunization Cards – The plain paper report has been adjusted to include the new fields for COVID-19 vaccinations. Also, There is a new option to Print Student Legal Name that applies to both the plain paper and “Blue Card” versions of the report. -
Create CALPADS SPRG 185 Records for TK from Student TK Grade Enrollment instead of PGM
Using PGM to generate SPRG 185 records for TK students is redundant as Aeries already has the -1 grade level for TK students. Adjust the CALPADS SPRG extract to process student ATT/ENR data for the TK Grade Level to generate SPRG 185 records. PGM 185 could still remain and continue to work, but schools should have the option to not use PGM.

CALPADS Extracts
The SPRG extract has been enhanced to handle program code 185 for Transitional Kindergarten students. No records will be needed in PGM. The program records will be dynamically inserted into the SPRG extract for those students who need it, with appropriate beginning and ending dates.

Add COVID-19 Fields to Immunizations
Add fields to record COVID vaccines. Need fields for brand, at least 3 date fields (doses 1 and 2 plus subsequent booster(s)).

Immunizations – Additional fields have been added to this page to track student COVID-19 vaccinations, including tracking of exemptions, and vaccination type. Also, the Records Presented dropdown fields can now be customized by editing the IMM.RPT values on the Update Code Table page. Additional functionality related to COVID-19, including updating reports and tracking immunization status will be available in a future update.
