  1. CALPADS Fall 2 CRSE - Adjust logic for itinerant sections using section staff (SSE)

    For schools where section staff members are used (SSE), the itinerant logic needs to be modified to ensure the Class ID field has the same value when the class has multiple teachers according to (MST.MTS). Currently, schools with this scenario is causing CALPADS fatal error CRSE0639F2.

    School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts:  The process to extract Itinerant teachers (CRSE extract) has been adjusted to remove the Staff ID from the Class ID field.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that this item has been completed and it was released in the update 1/14/2025. Here are the relevant Revision Notes:


    Scheduling Process > MST Board (Print Board button) or View All Reports > Master Schedule Board Report - For Non-Flex schools, the following report options were added to provide more information about the master schedule and staffing: 


    Print Room Numbers - If selected, the room number for the teacher and section is printed based on the Master Schedule.


    Print Section Numbers - If selected, the section number for the class is printed based on the Master Schedule.


    Print Total Students - If selected, the total number of students in the section is printed based on the Master Schedule Total Students field (MST.TS).


    Group by Subject Area - If selected, staff are grouped by subject area (CRS.S1) before sorting.

    •  TSDS Ed-Fi: The Discipline Action entity had the potential to send the InconsistentCodeOfConduct data element for discipline action records that require the data element to be blank/not reported. The entity now sends the InconsistentCodeOfConduct data element as null for these discipline action records.
  6. Summer School Course Request setting - YSOD on SMS/MST

    In TX, when the Summer School Course Request Scheduling option is enabled, the MST and SMS pages are not displaying the student list due to missing logic for displaying the Language Fluency specifically for PGM.TY = 148. This information was updated in Aug 2024 and did not account for viewing course requests from the SSR table which is used for Summer School. Function needs to include SSR tables for displaying students on the SMS and MST pages, including Wait List tabs.

    • Transcript Definitions > General Tab > Design Options section: For Texas customers, a new graduation date format option, 'YYYY/MM', is now available for the Enhanced 1-column Transcript layout. This format meets AAR minimum standards.

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed, and it was released to customers on 5/27/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Reports > Attendance > Gain and Loss Report: In Flex Daily schools using Primary Class Tracking, the gain/loss counts were inaccurately printing outside of section start dates. Now, sections will accurately print within their active start dates.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 3/11/25 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    • Student Data > Grades > CCI Indicator Summary (BETA): This page has been replaced in the navigation tree with the new CCI Student Summary page. Users who have the old page marked as a Favorite will now link to the new page instead. 
    • Student Data > Grades > Student CCI Summary: An updated CCI Student Summary page introduces a new layout to track student readiness within the College or Career indicators, featuring updated terminology, overall status messages with details, status chips displayed within each indicator section, and individual statuses available for each measure.     UPDATE: As of 2/11/2024 the CRDC Extract process has been updated to meet the requirements for the 2021-2022 CRDC Data Collection.  See the Revision notes dated 2/11/2024 for a more thorough explanation of all the changes. Please be sure you are updated to the latest version of Aeries to access these changes.

    NOTE: There are 2 sections where the data is not quite extracting properly, so we are suppressing this data from the extract at this time.

    DISC: Student Discipline (Corporal Punishment, Expulsion, Suspension)

    • DISC-27: School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension

    OFFN: Offenses

    • OFFN-1: Offenses – Number of Incidents

    We will immediately be adjusting the extract further to include these sections, and that work remains our highest priority. However we wanted our Customers to know about the work-around for these sections, if needed:

  14. CA Preschool Data Collection (CAPSDAC) - Extracts Needed

    The 801-A submission is transitioning into CAPSDAC (California Preschool Data Collection System), which is a data collection that merges together the CDD 801a and data submitted to PLIS (Preschool Language Information System) and new fields.

    For the time being, data will be concurrently submitted to the CDD-801A, PLIS and CAPSDAC. Eventually, the CDD-801a and PLIS will be phased out.

    Can the Aeries Early Child Development page be reconfigured to include the 3 extracts needed for the CAPSDAC: Classroom, Staff, and Child information fields?

  15. CALPADS CTE Course Section Provider Code (MST.TEP)

    Per CALPADS Flash #287, field 9.27 - CTE Course Section Provider Code on the Course Section (CRSC) file is no longer being used and has become a “filler” field. Update the logic to exclude data from extracting when field MST.TEP is populated. Remove the green state reporting highlight.

    •  Reports > Student Data > Student Data Audit: In the Validation set for CALPADS Data, for the Programs (PGM) validations, LIP code 307 has now been properly declared in the report, so it is evaluated as an eligibility code. See Student Data Audit report.
    • Reports > Student Data > Student Data Audit: A validation has been added under 'Discipline (ADS/DSP)' to evaluate if there are multiple Incident Dates for a single IID affecting multiple students. These records will cause fatal errors in EOY3 submissions. See Student Data Audit report.

  20. OneRoster: Limit Extract to include CON Records for Active Students only

    In the Users.csv file produced by the OneRoster v1.1 Configuration's 'Run Now and Email' process, parent (PAT) records are being created even when the agentSourcedIds field is empty. This leads to the creation of unnecessary parent accounts for students who are inactive or no longer enrolled in the district.
