An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Hollins commentedThis is what I recommend:
- Grant ability to copy group or user permissions (think CRS copy function)
- Create two Security function buttons for Last Year Permissions and Before Last Year Permissions
---- Read/Update for roles that will need to access and update past school year data.
---- Read Only to allow the Admin to en masse change these Users back to read only if applicable-- Grant the ability to change school access permissions for prior school years.
---- some locations are no longer available in the current school year and the only way to grant Admin for past school access in via the USR table.
Example: we no longer have an Adult School and have remove the LOC record for the current school year, but the Adult School exists in previous school databases.Chris Hollins supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Hollins commentedSomething I think all IRC/LEA would desire is the ability to import immunizations from CAIR directly into their SIS.
CAIR already has a optional repository setup with counties https://cairweb.org/snowflake/
Via the CAIR Organization terms and conditions, Schools are deemed approved agencies. This would allow Aeries to align their pending data schema changes to longitudinal to include a CAIR API for Schools.
Spitballing I would think a hard-coded authorization could be built into the API logic to determine if the family consented to a School downloading immunizations from the CAIR database.

This is a an important feature for high schools.
Students who prefer to go by a different name and/or gender but do not want to come out to their legal guardians - yet.
Solution would be to add a radio button on the Demographics screen that overrides the Parent Portal to view only the legal name and legal gender.
Additionally a ribbon to remind staff that the student self-identifies differently between school and home would pop up to prevent staff from doxxing the student.
