We need an option within MST or SMS that allows districts or campuses to determine whether a course should be copied/pushed over to transcripts during the “ Copy Grades to Transcripts”.
For Spring ISD, Only courses that earn high school credit should remain on transcripts. High school credit courses can typically be identified by a default credit value greater than 0.0 (usually 0.5 or higher) in CRS or HIS.
Currently, our process requires us to copy all middle school grades to transcripts and then submit a support ticket to have non-credit courses removed. Aeries has indicated that they do not wish to continue performing this process, as it is considered a preference-based configuration rather than a defect or standard support issue.
This workaround was originally recommended because Aeries does not currently provide functionality that meets our requirements. We need a more modern, efficient solution that districts can manage independently without requiring intervention from Aeries Support.
