In a Flex school where primary class tracking is enabled, allow the extended field for PRIMARYTEACHERNAME and PRIMARYTEACHERID to be printed on the letter when added in the letter text editor for Attendance Letters

Flex Student Attendance - Add the Section Number before the course Course Title in Flex Student Attendance
In the Flex Student Attendance page, please add the section number before the course title. This would be helpful for attendance clerks to see the section number right there when having to update or change absence codes.

- Student Data > Attendance - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following features were added to enhance functionality:
- The Options button was added which opens a window providing the following settings:
- Show Flex Period Time - If selected, the period start and end times are displayed in H:MM format. The setting remains saved even after leaving the page or logging out of Aeries.
- Show Teacher - If selected, the teacher names are displayed.
- The section number is now displayed next to each course.
- The current date is highlighted in yellow.

Staff Schedule Report for Flex
Please add a Flex version of the Staff Schedule Report and add some of the same options that were available. Multiple staff rely on this report.

Scheduling Process > MST Board (Print Board button) or View All Reports > Master Schedule Board Report - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following report options were added to provide Flex schools more information about the master schedule and staffing: See Flex Scheduling - Master Schedule Board
- Print Room Numbers - will print the room number for the teacher/section from MST
- Print Section Numbers - will print the section number of the class from MST
- Print Total Students - will print the total number of students in the section based on the MST total students field (MST.TS)

Flex Attendance Quick Print in period school types - Not legible, too long, condense report
The Flex Attendance Quick print for period attendance schools should be formatted like the traditional attendance quick print, so the reports are usable. Right now the data is not legible.

Reports - Student Attendance - The report now accommodates schools using Flex Scheduling with period attendance, as follows. See Student Attendance Report for Flex.
- The report can be run from the Attendance page for the currently selected student, or run from the Reports menu. When run from the Reports menu, the report options page is displayed and will print the last student accessed.
- The option to print a summary or detailed report was added.
- Detailed - All dates are included, even if there are no absences
- Summary - Only dates where absence codes exist are included.
- The Start Date and End Date options were added allowing the report to be generated for a specific time period. In the Attendance Summary section, the Days Enrolled and Days Present totals now exclude non-school days…

Gain and loss report by Primary teacher and/or primary class at flex elementary
Enhance the Gain and Loss Report to have the ability to run the report by primary teacher or primary class, which helps teachers reconcile the data. This would impact Flex elementary schools where primary class tracking is enabled.

Convert to Flex Scheduling - Create a Year Long Class Calendar
Having the process create a 5 day sample record requires the user to have to remember to go back and complete the full year class calendar after the rollover. This enhancement will save users that step during the first time conversion.

Configurations > Scheduling Setup - The Convert to Flex Scheduling process was updated as follows:
- The Start of Sample Week for Class Calendars field was replaced with the Class Calendar Start Date and Class Calendar End Date fields allowing the user to enter any dates when creating a year-long class calendar record for the next academic year. See Scheduling Setup > Convert to Flex Scheduling
- The process now includes the following fields when converting teacher data to scheduling: School (TCH.SC), Room (TCH.RM), LO (TCH.LO), HI (TCH.HI), and Max Stu/Day (TCH.MX). See Staff Scheduling Information > Overview

Email List Page and Counselor Name
Email List page - When the Staff ID Based Counselor option is enabled, the Email List page needs to be enhanced to look at STU.CNS instead of STU.CU for Counselor in Secondary and Flex schools.

- For secondary schools and schools using Flex Scheduling, the Counselor field now honors the Staff ID Based Counselor setting on School Options and displays the value from the Counselor field (STU.CNS) on Demographics, instead of Teacher Number (STU.CU), accordingly.
- For elementary schools, the Counselor field was added and displays the value from the Counselor field (STU.CNS) on Demographics.

Make the MassChangeATTCodesDaily.aspx page visible for Flex / Elementary Schools and ensure the process still works with this school type and attendance type.

Scheduling Setup and Track Primary Classes option
Currently the Scheduling Setup page allows the user to select "Track Primary Classes for Students for Next Year" without having the "Use Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking" Feature Flag turned on even though that setting is required to use Primary Class Tracking on the School Options page.
Add a Check for the Staff ID Based Counselor setting when using the Track Primary Classes for Student for Next Year option.
Also Add a Tool Tip message that says "In order to use this option, the Staff ID Based Counselor Feature Flag must be enabled."1 voteHello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 11/19/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:
Scheduling Process > Configurations > Scheduling Setup - For schools using Flex Scheduling, when selecting Track Primary Classes for Students for Next Year, Aeries now checks that the Use Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking feature flag is enabled. If enabled, the user can select that scheduling option. If not enabled, the scheduling option cannot be selected, and a message is displayed when the user hovers over the tooltip notifying the user that the Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking Feature Flag must be enabled. Reports > Master Schedule Board - At schools using Flex Scheduling, the Flex Periods to Print button is now displayed instead of the Start Time drop-down option. The new button opens a list of existing Flex periods, including title and start/end times, allowing the user to select up to ten periods to print. This feature is also available when using the Print Board button on the MST Board page. See Flex Scheduling - Master Schedule Board.

Generate Report Card History - Add support for Flex Section Staff and Primary Class Tracking
The long-running process for Generate Report Card History is not creating all records in the RCH table for all students that have a report card printed. The code is still referring to TCH and TN in a Flex Scheduling school and needs to change to using Staff ID for Section Staff.

Allow Flex Periods and Class Calendar to have Linking Capability
Linking the Flex Periods and Flex Calendars so that when selecting one the other is attached. Districts could link or choose not to link based on how they are building their schedules. This just makes good sense and eliminates repetitious data entry.

Parent Square Attendance notification does not display flex periods individually
In Flex schools, allow the flex periods to display individually for Attendance notifications to Parent Square. Currently, the message appears as "one or more classes".

Logic exists to pre-determine conflicts by excluding sections from displaying in the dropdown by checking if a section is already scheduled within the same period and term.
