    This clarification message was added to the SUN Bucks communcation pieced linked earlier, so we are adding it here to maintain consistency as to our plans:

    There seems to still be some confusion, so we are clarifying out intended actions, as many comments added to this idea cover a wide variety of requests:


    We are planning development during the current quarter to make specific upgrades to allow recording in Aeries which students were designated as Free or Reduced based on the UBA (and not the NSLP Application) via a new Source Code. Also, in the same way that districts can make the NSLP application available for download in the parent portal, a customized UBA could also be uploaded into the Parent Portal so they can access it to fill out.

  2. Add New CDE Attendance Recovery to Aeries to be reported to CALPADS

    I am currently on a CDE webinar and they are discussing a new way to have attendance recovery which must be tracked separately from Reg School Day ADA and Saturday School. It was also stated that this would be reported to CALPADS to contribute to an Alternate Absenteeism Rate and be included in P2/Annual Attendance reporting. How will Aeries build this to keep it separate from Saturday School and allow for accounting for multiple days to make up the daily minute allowance?   3. Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOP) - The ability to track and report Student registration and participation is needed for 25/26 SY

    A method is needed to track the ELOP opportunities that students are registered for and participating is needed for the 25/26 school year. It will now be incorporated into the CALPADS process. The districts would benefit tremendously from having this. I know in California we need it! It will help with reporting state information to see and compare how it relates to the funding we receive.

    Academic Plan - Please add Print button from Academic Plan Page and From Reports (similar to the CSU eligibility report) in an easy to read one page format.

  5. CCGI - Upload CCGI Extract to CCGI via SFTP

    One cool new option for your CCGI export, would be to enter the district's SFTP information into the export, and have the long running process automatically send to CCGI.

  6. Edit the "Has this student previously attended a public school in California?" so that parents are aware Headstart and PreK not included

    During the Language questionnaire portion of Online Enrollment, we noticed that parents of TK/K students would answer yes to "Has this student previously attended a public school in California" because the student attended HeadStart or PreK. That means they are not filling out the HLS and now we have to reach out to get them to fill it out. We could turn the feature off as a district, but we were hoping to utilize it for all other grade levels.

    Either the question can be adjusted to include a disclaimer, or perhaps have the feature where it can be turned…

  8. Allow Portal Options to be copied from one school to another.

    Add an option to be able to copy Portal options from one school to another. This includes settings for Data Confirmation.

    We are in the process of separating the different types of portal options into phases so they can be developed and released in smaller increments. That will help us deliver them in stages, rather than waiting for the entire project to be finsihed & released all together.

  9. Gradebook Progress by Student Report - Add an "Email to Parents" option

    Add an "Email to Parents" function button to the Progress by Student report that includes the same options as the Gradebook Assignments by Student report.
