Add a Save button to the Grades page
Teachers have reported entering grades, only to return the next day to find that the grades have not saved. They have requested a manual Save button so that they don't have to rely on just the auto-save.

Gradebook Assignment Extra Credit option
When gradebook assignments are designated to have 0 points, please disable extra credit as the default when 0 points are assigned. Students are getting confused thinking an assignment is zero points, and it's confusing teachers as well.

Embed a link into an assignment description.
I would like to post links to online assignments (such as Google Classroom) or other resources within the assignments. At this point, I can only include documents. This was available in the "old" version, and I was told repeatedly it was coming, but is still not active.

I feel that having a picture of the student in the gradebook when entering their grade would be helpful. I have almost 200 students a day. It takes a long time to remember names/faces.

How about a print button in the gradebook?
I don't want to have to go from the gradebook to student records, click on my class, click on print, click on view report, and then click on print.

Add a "Copy Categories to Gradebooks" button to the categories tab
Currently the Options tab has a button at the bottom to quickly copy gradebook options to other gradebooks. This is a suggestion to add a similar button to the Categories tab. An example of when this would be useful is when a teacher creates new gradebooks for their second term. They can mass create the gradebooks, then link them (optional), then copy the options from their old gradebook, but to copy the categories over the only way is to restore them from a backup which has to be done one period at a time. Having a button at the bottom…

Make student names in two lines and a larger font for printed seating charts.
The names in the current format for printed seating charts are unreadable because student names are in one line and the font is tiny. I can get readable names by taking a screenshot off my computer than using the file downloaded from Aeries. But screen shots are more blurry.

Allow the comment field from the single "Assignment" page to expand
If I am entering scores by assignment, the comment field is barely an inch and a half wide, so that what I am typing quickly scrolls out of the visible space. If I am entering a comment from the "Scores by Class" page, I can easily see half a paragraph's worth of comment, as opposed to the few words I see from the Assignment page. This is particularly frustrating because in a single assignment, the comments are often similar and being able to read more of the comment would make a copy/paste/slight tweak situation far easier. Please allow an option…

Making it easier to see if assignment grade is viewable to parents
There are some assignments or times when I don't want it visible to parents, but it is not easy to see which ones are and which are not.
So a code in the scores by class view or in the manage assignment section (like you have a place to show if grading completed or not.10 votes -
Lock Entered Gradebook Grades
Allow teachers to lock scores in to avoid accidentally erasing an older score. It's way too easy to lose grades right now.
