Allow teacher to customize Avery Labels reports
Allow teachers to decide what information is printed on labels (names only would be great). This would be a great time saver when labeling students' items in class/ folders/ writing portfolios, etc.

Allow teachers to print attendance seating charts for a future date and still have the attendance options show up.
I am trying on a Friday to print attendance sheets for my sub for an absence on Monday. I can print up class lists, but I can't print up anything that shows the attendance options for the sub to easily mark. This is also difficult because we have students changing classes Monday and I can't get an attendance sheet Friday to show my new classes on Monday.

Backup grade changes
Another program I used had a backup link that showed when grades for each student/assignment were entered and tracked any changes to the grade. This allowed me to recover when a student obtained my password and changed their own grades.

Gradebook by Calendar view
It would be nice to be able to see the assignments in a calendar view so I know when I have things due, or have too many assignments due on a particular day.

Student Gradebook Search Option with link to gradebook
There needs to be a way to search students by name in the gradebook to figure out which gradebook(period) they are in. Currently you have to go to the main menu to look up period and then go to gradebooks and select the class.

Allowing teachers to send emails to classes by marking specific classes. Not having to choose all then delete not recipients.
When sending mass emails. We can not choose specific classes. Its either one at a time or all at a time. Should be able to choose classes to receive and email.

Make student names in two lines and a larger font for printed seating charts.
The names in the current format for printed seating charts are unreadable because student names are in one line and the font is tiny. I can get readable names by taking a screenshot off my computer than using the file downloaded from Aeries. But screen shots are more blurry.

In Class Setting, be able to mark an assignment LATE.
Right now, you can only do that under Assignment or Student. The old version had this ability.

Streamline Mass Assign Entry
Reconfigure the Mass Assign functions so that the user doesn't have to go through multiple steps (multiple pull-downs). It was better when it was a function at the bottom of the Enter Grades by Assignment screen.

Putting back the grid format (rows and columns) in the Gradebook Summary, instead of only shaded rows.
The older version of Aeries allowed for the Gradebook Summary to be printed in a uniform grid, with point values and assignment titles either at the bottom of the page or a separate page. The new version is only alternating shaded rows. The original version was much more user-friendly, especially with regard to student teaching assistants.

Allow teachers to see the student side of Aeries
We should be able to make a dummy account or be able to click "view as student" or "view as parent" to see how it would look to them. I often get questions from parents or students about where to find things, and I am just as puzzled as they are.

Grade Statistics for all classes for an assignment
Run a grade statistics report (average score, hi, low...) for an assignment that spans all linked gradebooks. For example, if I have a test I would like to see what the average is for ALL my sections, not just one class.

Report that counts the number of assignments that apply to each standard
When pushing an elementary gradebook to grade reporting, it would be nice to know the number of assignments that counted for a specific grade. The goal is to balance assignments among the standards

I'd like a shorter version (than 2 pages!) of missing assignments & grade analysis
I want to used less paper. I want to be able to print multiple students missing assignments & the grade analysis on a sheet of paper without printing out 2 papers for each students. Many students have only a single missing assignment

Have an "undo" option similar to what was in GradeQuick
Have the option to reverse or undo the last five steps or changes made to a gradebook. For example if you accidentally overwrite a previously entered grade in the gradebook, then you have the option of undoing that mistake. Especially helpful if you are transferring grades from another source like a written gradebook.

Incorporate graphical summaries of scores
Be able to view the distribution of scores on a selected assignment by a histogram in the case of numerical scores, or a pie chart or bar graph for letter grades. For the histogram, make the class width editable by the user.

Having assignment types within a category when using a weighted grade scale.
it would be great if we could have assignment types within a category so that tests can still be 30% of the grade, but still be able to break it down by audio, vocabulary, grammar, reading & comprehension.
