Add shortcut key for new assignments
When in Class View, add something like a Cntl-N to open a New Assignment dialogue. The mouse shift - click -mouse shift - click is very time consuming for something that is extremely common.

On the import assignments pop-up, have the name of the teacher signed in appear rather than the first teacher alphabetically at the school.
If you are not the first teacher alphabetically at the school, you have to scroll to find your name, every time. I do not think that I have ever imported an assignment from another teacher (in 12+ years).

Creating a way to not change grades automatically.
Notify teacher when grade is being changed to avoid accidental changes in grades. A quick note:"Are you sure you want to change this grade?"

credit option for nongraded assignments
Allow "cr" option for credit on a completed assignment, such as classwork, that will not be formally graded.

Missing Assignment Notification
I would like aeries to generate an email notification for students who have a missing assignment when grading for that assignment is marked as completed

Add assignment average to the magnifying glass on Loading grades from gradebook screen
Teachers would like an assignment average when you click the magnifying glass on the Load Grades from gradebook screen. Currently you click the magnifier and can see the assignments for the standards, but they'd like to have an average assignment score as well.

Gradebook picture along student
I feel that having a picture of the student in the gradebook when entering their grade would be helpful. I have almost 200 students a day. It takes a long time to remember names/faces.

Sorting Flexibility on Scores by Student Page
I would like the ability to rearrange the order of assignments on the "Students" page.
I often collect assignments in packets. These packets contain 6 to 10 assignments for the chapter and they are submitted in the order that they were assigned. When I go to enter scores on the individual student's page, the assignments are not in numerical order and there is no way to sort the assignments.
Although I could use the "scores by class" page, I prefer entering scores on the individual students page because it is easier to enter comments on the quality of work that…

Progress reports by Standard for SBG
I would like to see a report that would pull averages by standard for each Standard on report card. A way to preview progress before the report card- without all the other stuff showing.

Allowing teachers to prevent the grade % from being displayed so a four point (0-4, or other) grading system can easily be implemented
Allowing teachers to use the "Final Grades" tab to create a 0-4 (four) point grading system - this will require that the teacher be able to disable the student grade % from being displayed in places like the parent portal, student portal and all other downstream locations. Using the "Final Grades" tab in the existing gradebook already works to allow teachers to implement the four point grading system, but the display of the grade % adjacent to the grade causes confusion for students and parents - as well as concern about special education cases where a target % has been…

Allow the selectable option of teacher to be automatically notified via an email whenever a student adds or drops their class.
This would give teachers a heads-up and give them a little more prep time to incorporate these new students into the increasingly common group work that is part of the CCSS with less down time.

Create a comprehensive gradebook report
Create a report that lists ALL assignments for all gradebooks and categories with their scores, including those that are missing. It should also include overall summary scores for categories and gradebooks. (applicable to elementary teachers who teach multiple subjects).

May we please have a column that shows the number of missing assignments students have?
In the "Scores by Class" window, it would be so helpful to see at a glance in a column like the one that shows the grade level, which students have missing work and how many missing assignments those students have.

Including an icon for teacher location in classroom seating chart
Adding an icon of where the teacher location is so that if a substitute were to use the program or anyone uses the program, it would be easier for classroom orientation.

How about a classroom timer?
A small timer within the program that you could set up. Wouldn't take much code for a basic timer. Cheers!

Take out the "Edit All Record".
When you go to import grades, you have to click on "Edit All Record." Have it already editable when you first click "Grades."

Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting.
Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting. This will allow the teacher to not have to open the actual assignment for editing.
