Student Checkin
Have Aeries have a window where each school site can check in students upon late arrival or early check out.
Student would scan their id into the system using a barcode scanner that would capture their STU ID.
Then a window would pop up asking for reason for Tardy.
Dr. Appointment
COVID Test
No Reason
Other

- Student Grades - The absence and tardy counts in the Grades section will display blank instead of 0 in prior terms. In the current term, absence and tardy counts will display for all courses with a grade mark, including courses where credit was denied due to excessive absences.

- Manage Grading Snapshot - The Active Gradebook Entries Only option is now available under the Manage Grading Snapshot section. Selecting this option will exclude gradebooks that the student in no longer active in from the snapshot calculations. Using this option when calculating the Grading Snapshot will ensure that the Grade Report card will only display grading snapshot marks for the gradebooks that the student is active in. SENR ODS reconciliation - unneeded removal records generated
The SENR ODS reconciliation process is creating D records in the removals file needlessly when a student has an enrollment status change (such as grade level, school transfer) - commonly referred to as a 440 or E150 change. In these cases the enrollment date (start date) is not changing... nor are the other SENR operational key fields (School of Attendance, SSID, Start Date) - so a (D)elete record is not needed.
Having uneeded (D)elete records in the removals file causes increased workload due to:
- it requires an additional file to be posted.- since removing records represents potential data loss,…

SBG Gradebooks - GBS.MK Numeric when Portal Option "TeachersWillUseSTNMarkTypesInGradebooks" is True and GBK.SD is blank
Since 12/1/2022 if these conditions are met:
-SBG gradebook
-in schools with the above Portal Option on
-gradebook does not have an Overall Standard selected, and
-assignments have Standards and Input by Standard is selectedthen the GBS (Gradebook Assignment Score) records are saving numeric values as the Mark rather than the translated SBG Mark

Assertive Discipline Foster Youth
Please have Aeries show a red message for students who have an active 190 Special Program Record or active record in the Foster Details screen the same way that it does for students who have IEP information in the SpEd screen and 504 students. "Student with an IEP" but instead "Student is a Foster Youth". That would be a huge help to sites to know right when they're entering an Assertive Discipline incident that the student is a current Foster Youth & their social worker and/or attorney will need to be notified of the incident.
