An error occurred while saving the comment Henry Monroy commentedIt's just as frustrating to see that this idea has so few votes 3 years later as it is frustrating having to guess which report was run based on only the total generated.

An error occurred while saving the comment Henry Monroy commentedFor context,
The issue/problem that this idea addresses is to account for when a registrar is trying to determine whether a student already has an existing record/ID (i.e. a student who attended the district at some point in the past but is not attending the current year) via the "Find Matches" search from the Pending Import list, the search algorithm is unable to find a match due to the fact that that it only considers the STU table and not the IDN table.
The resulting problem is that the registrar may interpret that a previous record/ID does not exist, therefore concluding it is a brand new student and may create a duplicate record/ID.
Thus, this idea that was created by QC is to modify the Find Matches algorithm to include the IDN table in addition to STU for a more thorough search to prevent the above scenario.
This is in conjunction to the ability to perform a District Student Lookup search, however, that is completely separate from the Import Student screens which some registrars may not be aware of.

Have the "confirmation" page (accessible from the "view" button) to be included as one of the documents among the other documents submitted by the parent to be imported to the Student Documents page when importing a student via online enrollment.
Our district's process has our registrars save a PDF of this and manually upload the document to Student Documents as part of our enrollment procedure (essentially since this is the digital equivalent of the paper registration form that registrars also file, our Office of Enrollment also wants to this documented in Aeries).
