Attendance Audit Listing - remove TK Non-ADA error codes
In CA, beginning in 2025/26, students who have their 4th birthday by September 1 are eligible to be TK grade level and can generate ADA. Remove the TK NonADA option and error codes AA, AB and AC from the Attendance Audit Listing form, since this no longer applies.
129 votesHello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed, and it was released to customers on 9/10/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Reports > Attendance > Attendance Audit Listing: As of 2025/26 school year, students who turn 4 by September 1 should be given TK grade level and are eligible to receive ADA. To comply with these CDE changes, the Attendance Audit Listing was updated to remove the "Attendance Program for Transitional Kindergarten as non-ADA" option along with the error codes AA, AB, and AC. Now students that are 4 years old as of September 1st will no longer display with an ADA error code.

Monthly Attendance Summary/Report inaccurate totals
Monthly Attendance Report and Monthly Attendance Summary is inflating Gains and Losses causing the ADA Apportionment to have inflated data on the reports when a student leaves and re-enters the same class and program for the same attendance month.
28 votesHello, this work item has been completed and was released on 10/28/25. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Monthly Attendance Summary and Monthly Attendance Report: Changes made in the 9.30 update caused incorrect ADA totals in cases where a student exits and re-enters a program during the same attendance month. We have reverted those changes, and the Gains, Losses, and Total Apportionment values now reflect accurately for this scenario. Users should re-run the Monthly Attendance Summary and recalculate totals for all months.

Limit Attendance Recovery Bank Calculations to District‑Selected ADA Make‑Up Codes
Enhance the Attendance Recovery Bank so that the Total Absences Recovered only include the ADA Make‑Up Codes explicitly selected in District Settings for Attendance Recovery.
Currently, the Attendance Recovery Bank counts all ADA make‑up codes found on attendance records, even when only specific codes (such as the district’s designated Attendance Recovery code) are selected. This enhancement would align AR Bank calculations with district configuration, improve accuracy, and prevent unintended codes (such as Saturday School ADA make‑up codes) from impacting Attendance Recovery totals.5 votesHello, this work item has been completed and was released on 4/20/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:
Supplemental Attendance > Attendance Recovery Bank: Multiple enhancements have been made to the Attendance Recovery Bank (ARB) page.
- District setting validation messages now display at the top of the page to indicate whether ADA codes and AR program codes are configured in District Settings.
- The ARB Calculation process now performs a full physical delete of existing ARB records prior to recalculation, scoped to the district or school level based on login context.
- Logic has been added to identify ATT records where a qualifying AR code is present and ATT.AMU is zero. When discrepancies are found, a message will appear at the top of the page with an option to resolve. Users with Mass Update permissions can update ATT.AMU directly from the ARB page; a confirmation prompt is required before the process…

Attendance Recovery Bank Page — District Settings Warning & Minutes Utilized Population
To ensure the page functions correctly and to quickly take corrective action, add a warning message on the Attendance Recovery Bank (ARB) page when required District Settings are missing or when Minutes Utilized (ATT.AMU) records are unpopulated for Attendance Recovery-defined attendance records.

Attendance History (AHS) not analyzing all tracks
Attendance History and Days Enrolled on the Attendance page are not matching. AHS Update uses legacy logic that only processes tracks A–F. When tracks beyond F are encountered (e.g., Q), the track value is zeroed and AHS falls back to generic holidays (HO) instead of the track‑specific holiday column (e.g., T17 for Track Q). Result: Days that should be excluded for Track Q aren’t excluded in AHS, inflating “Days Enrolled.”
2 votesHello, this work item has been completed and was released on 2/17/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Student Data > Attendance History: The calculation logic has been updated as it could return incorrect counts if the number of tracks was above 6 (A-F).

TX: Attendance Enrollment Track Field
When a district has selected to locally define Tracks for the STU.TR field, the Track field on the Attendance Enrollment page should only display locally defined track codes and descriptions and none of the fixed codes used for other reporting purposes.
2 votesHello, this work item has been completed and was released on 12/16/25. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Student Data > Attendance Enrollment: The Track field (ATT.TR) now only displays local codes.

Attendance History Configuration-disable button when process is running
Enhance the Attendance History Configuration page to display process start and end times & disable the manual button if the process is still running.
74 votesHello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Attendance Accounting > Configurations > Attendance History Config
- Date-time stamps are now provided to indicate when the process started and completed, whether run manually or nightly.
- The Update All Schools Now button is now disabled while the process is running, preventing the process from being run multiple times simultaneously. The button becomes available again once the process is completed and the page is refreshed. See Attendance History Configuration.

In Flex Schools, the Period Absence Audit report printed by teacher should display attendance for all classes
When printing this report in Flex Schools, the Period Absence Audit Report when sorted by Teacher should display all classes for the student instead of just the one belonging to the teacher. This report is not efficient when printing each student's absence for the given teacher without seeing the entire schedule along with absence to determine the anomaly. For example, the outcome of the report should display just as printed by Student where it shows all classes except it should be sorted by the Teacher so that each teacher can determine if their attendance is correct or needs to be…
16 votesHello, this issue has been completed in the 12/15/2022 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Print Period Absence Audit - The report has been updated to handle flex schools. The absence audit options are now honored. The change affects flex schools (positive & negative attendance).

Student Checkin
Have Aeries have a window where each school site can check in students upon late arrival or early check out.
Student would scan their id into the system using a barcode scanner that would capture their STU ID.
Then a window would pop up asking for reason for Tardy.
Dr. Appointment
COVID Test
No Reason
Other
That would update their attendance record with code and reason and the attendance clerk could just verify.1 voteTardies can be scanned into the system now on the Attendance Management page. Ability to hover over attendance note bubble and view note rather than having to click to view
We would like to like the ability to to hover over attendance note bubble and view the note rather than having to click to view.
134 votesHello, this work item has been completed and was released on 4/1/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Student Attendance: Previously, hovering over an attendance note icon on the Student Attendance page only showed the action items. Now, hovering over an attendance note icon displays a tooltip showing a preview of the attendance notes for that date. The tooltip displays the period, attendance note code with description, and comment text, and is supported for Flex, Period, and Daily attendance. The tooltip is read-only; clicking the icon continues to open the full Attendance Notes modal. After closing the modal, the tooltip is refreshed to reflect any changes made to the Attendance Notes. See Add Attendance Notes.

Attendance Dashboard Allows Non School Date Range
Attendance Dashboard allows selecting non school calendar date (i.e. Sat. or Sun.) and displays %Present 100. Please modify date picker to display error and force valid school date if user tries to select date which is not in the school calendar
5 votesThis idea is being closed due to changes made in a 10/5/23 release that resolved this issue.
Attendance Dashboard:
- Weekend dates will automatically be adjusted to weekday dates if they are selected (to the nearest Friday).
- An error message was displayed when the specified Date Range was not within the current school year. Now the chart is blank when the specified Date Range is not within the current school year.

Add ability to turn off notification of submitting future attendance
Our attendance clerks are posting period attendance for future dates and have to acknowledge that they are posting future attendance for each day. Pretty tedious when a student is going to be out for a month or longer. It also gives the future warning for the next day. One warning or the ability to turn off those warnings would be greatly appreciated.
23 votesHello, a fix for this issue was released on 2/15/2023. Here are the revision notes:
Student Data > Attendance - In Flex Schools using period attendance, users will now be prompted with a confirmation message when entering or modifying an attendance code for a future date. The popup message will include options for OK (Don't Ask Again), allowing the user to temporarily disable any further alert notification while updating future attendance for the current student or any other student within the first 30 days from the current date until the user leaves the Attendance page. Upon reloading the Attendance page, the notifications will be enabled again. See Flex Scheduling - Student Attendance

New ATT.RS for transfer between Schools with same CDS
Please add a new Hard-coded value in the ATT.RS. This code would be used for students transferring between two Aeries Schools with the same CDS code. When CALPADS data is extracted, this code should be bypassed just as a 440 is, but the error on the student Demographics and Attendance pages do not pop-up.
16 votesHello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 10/14/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Demographic, Attendance Enrollment and Attendance Audit Listing Report – Allow Exit Reason Code 440 to be used when a student leaves a school to attend another school in the same District, with a matching CDS code, or if the STU.HS field is populated at the new school where the same CDS code is used.

Add the Reason Leave Code to the Withdrawal Form
Please add the Leaver Code to the "Reason for leaving" field on the Withdrawal Form. For example, instead of printing "Homeschooling", we would like to see "60 - Homeschooling".
Adding this code will help clerks work through properly coding leaver data. Thank you!
1 voteHello, this issue has been resolved in the 4/7/22 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Student Withdrawal Form Report- The Reason for Leaving label now displays both the reason code and description.

STU.DE should be Total Days Enrolled not just current enrollment
STU.DE only captures current enrollment and can differ from AHS.EN which is Total Days enrolled for the year
16 votesHello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 07/01/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Attendance History – The update attendance history process would fail to correctly tally enrollment in the STU table if the student had a leave date midyear since the 07/02/2020 Aeries update, fixed.
