Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting.
Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting. This will allow the teacher to not have to open the actual assignment for editing.

Add the parent's communication language to the grade-reporting page so we can easily insert comments in their language.
Our comments are available in both English and Spanish, but when entering grades and comments, we have to go back to the Home page and look up any student we think might need their comments in Spanish.

Embed a link into an assignment description.
I would like to post links to online assignments (such as Google Classroom) or other resources within the assignments. At this point, I can only include documents. This was available in the "old" version, and I was told repeatedly it was coming, but is still not active.

How about a print button in the gradebook?
I don't want to have to go from the gradebook to student records, click on my class, click on print, click on view report, and then click on print.

Enter grades by seating chart!!
This was one of the best features of Easy Grade Pro! When teachers walk around we write grades on seating charts. To be able to enter the grades in that order is an a huge time saver. I have been missing this feature for years now!

Gradebook uploading attachments before assignment is saved
Allowing teachers to upload assignments documents such as PDF to assignment when first setting up assignments versus having to save it then go back in to the assignment and upload the assignment worksheet. Currently the assignment must be saved before attachments can be added.

Allow assignments to be assigned and due within a current term's date range but count towards a future term
For example, say the first term ends on November 20. A teacher would like to assign an assignment on November 18 and make it due on November 20, but have it count towards the second term. Currently this is only possible by giving the assignment dates within the second term, however this provides misleading information to parents and students.

How about a classroom timer?
A small timer within the program that you could set up. Wouldn't take much code for a basic timer. Cheers!

Allow a teacher to send emails to the other teachers of their students, not just the parents.
I have high school students from one class period who will be missing all or part of another class period on a given day. I want to notify all of the other teachers of these students about this, without sending a mass email to the entire staff. It would be nice if I could send an email to the other teachers of my students through Aeries.

Add a "Copy Categories to Gradebooks" button to the categories tab
Currently the Options tab has a button at the bottom to quickly copy gradebook options to other gradebooks. This is a suggestion to add a similar button to the Categories tab. An example of when this would be useful is when a teacher creates new gradebooks for their second term. They can mass create the gradebooks, then link them (optional), then copy the options from their old gradebook, but to copy the categories over the only way is to restore them from a backup which has to be done one period at a time. Having a button at the bottom…

Allowing copying of previous assignments
When there is an assignment that is given weekly (grammar test, spelling test, math quiz, etc) that has the same standards and number of points, teachers should be able to copy or duplicate the previous assignment and just change the dates/name of the assignment.

remember what grade I teach when I add standards to assignments
When I add an assignment, there are so many dropdowns and repetitive things, it takes more time than it should. I would like to see a streamline change on the 'add standard' page that remembers what grade I teach so I don't have to tell it each time.

Take out the "Edit All Record".
When you go to import grades, you have to click on "Edit All Record." Have it already editable when you first click "Grades."

Student percentage on completed work
When printing gradebook assignments by student, it would be nice if the summary (when selected as an option) had student's percentage of completed assignments. This would give a clearer picture of what the student is capable of without factoring in the missing assignments into the overall grade.

Please make the default for category field an empty box with a drop down menu. Since it defaults to Assignments, I forget to change it.

Cautionary Ding
Please add a cautionary "ding" or some such visual or auditory prompt if a teacher manually enters a grade lower than a 50% or higher than a 100%. Allow teacher to either accept the "weird" grade or override the mistake. Example: I have accidentally entered grades of "1" when it should have been "100", etc.

Allowing teachers to set the landing page.
This setting was available in an earlier version. It would save having to click through screens to get to the most frequently used page upon launching the program.

Gradebook Missing Assignment Report - combine gradebooks to same page and email
When running Gradebook Missing Assignments by Student report or emailing parents grades, multiple subjects for elementary students need to be combined like it was in the previous version. Wasting paper and sending parents 10 emails instead of 1 doesn't work. This can use hundreds of pieces of paper and send many emails to parents depending on how many gradebooks the teacher has.
