Gradebook Assignments - Allow teachers to create recurring assignments that repeat
To help with Hybrid instruction, allow teachers to create recurring assignments in their Gradebooks.
For students engaged in distance learning on a particular day, a teacher must track the means by which the student engaged that day. The Aeries Gradebook is a great place to record this information with a Daily Assignment so the ability to create a recurring assignment would be helpful.
This would add an option for repeating an assignment on a daily or weekly basis until a certain date.

Getting rid of the window within the window for entering student grades.
Currently, when entering grades, there is a window on the web page, and teachers have to scroll up and down to find students. Teachers have to manage 2 scroll bars. Being able to see all students on 1 page is better than having to deal with the 2nd scroll bar.
122 votesBased on feedback received, we believe the “window within a window” issue has been resolved. We invite you to add any additional enhancements to the gradebook as additional Ideas.

Add a code for missing assignments in gradebook
In the Gradebook, when similar to how there is NA = Not applicable and TX = Teacher Excused, adding another code such as M or MI so that I can manually mark an assignment as missing would be really helpful.
This is particularly true with the new "Import assignments from google button" which will not import scores for assignments that are marked finished.
Currently the teacher must grade everything first then select “is grading complete?" to mark assignments as missing.

Google Classroom/Aeries - Allow sync for ALL assignments even if "Is Grading Complete?" box is checked
When using Google Classroom, if a student completes a missing assignment, it will not import to Aeries if the "Is Grading Complete?" box is checked. But if we do not check that box, then the overall grade is not calculated properly (the missing assignment does not count as a zero as it should - a student with many missing assignments will look like they are getting a much higher grade). It would be VERY helpful to have the Google Classroom and Aeries sync update scores without having to uncheck and recheck the "Is Grading Complete?" box all the time. Please…

Check multiple assignments as "grading completed" at once
I would love to have the ability to check multiple assignments as "grading completed" at once instead of having to refresh for each one.
45 votesWe recently released a feature with the 8/11/2021 version of Aeries that included a new gradebook option to automatically mark Grading Completed once all scores are entered. This should make it easier for teachers to manage their assignments. If this option is enabled, an assignment will be set as Grading Completed automatically once every student associated with the assignment has either been given a valid score or has been marked as missing for the assignment. Here is some additional documentation: https://support.aeries.com/support/solutions/articles/14000067591-gradebook-options
