    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 07/16/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Student Data > Attendance - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following features were added to enhance functionality:
    • The Options button was added which opens a window providing the following settings:
    • Show Flex Period Time - If selected, the period start and end times are displayed in H:MM format. The setting remains saved even after leaving the page or logging out of Aeries.
    • Show Teacher - If selected, the teacher names are displayed.
    • The section number is now displayed next to each course.
    • The current date is highlighted in yellow.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/13/2022 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:


    • Daily Enrollment/Dates (CSR) Report
      For Primary Class Tracking schools, the report now prints the primary teachers for each student.
      For Primary Class Tracking schools, the report is now visible in Aeries navigation.
    • Daily Enrollment by Teacher Report - For Primary Class Tracking schools, options were added for printing Narrow, Wide, and For One Month.
      The primary teacher name and staff ID are now displayed at the top of the report below the teacher name.
      The report is now visible in Aeries navigation.
    • Daily Enrollment by Month (CSR) - The report now supports Primary Class Tracking.

  5. Student Attendance - Add Teacher Under Course in Flex Attendance

    In the Flex Student Attendance page please add the teacher name under the course title. This would be helpful for attendance clerks to see the teacher name right there.

  6. Attendance Page in FLEX Should Revert to the Original View

    Allow the Attendance page in a flex school to display with minimal options and a more condensed view. The header has too much information. Condense all rows to display more of the student's attendance for more days in the month. The user wants to have similar views as the non-flex school does.

    Student Data > Attendance - For schools using Flex Scheduling and Period attendance, a Summarized View is now available, which lists only essential information and allows more dates to be visible without scrolling. See Flex Scheduling - Student Attendance.

    It is easy to lose the current day in the new horizontal att calendar when scrolling. It is still highlighted in Elem w/MST and secondary school types but not Flex.

  9. Staff Need Teacher Fields for Flex Scheduling SMS Builder

    Customer is asking for adding the TCH fields that are auto populated to the SMS builder to the STF table. i.e. Room number, Class Max, Max Day, Lo/Hi grade

    • Staff - The Staff Scheduling Info section was added for section staff schools, allowing users to track school-specific information such as room number and max students per period. The data is stored in the SSI table.
    • Flex SMS Board - The Room and Max fields are now populated automatically with Staff Scheduling Information (SSI) when using the Add Class button or the SMS Builder.
    • Master Schedule - When saving a primary teacher in the Section Staff Members section, the Room and Max fields are now populated automatically with Staff Scheduling Information (SSI).
    • Scheduling Master - When saving a primary teacher in the Section Staff Members section, the Room and Max fields are now populated automatically with Staff Scheduling Information (SSI).

    Hello, I wanted to let you know that work on this item was completed and it was released to customers on 4/29/2025. Here are the relevant revision notes:


    Scheduling Process > Scheduling Process Dashboard > C. Scheduling Master Schedule Error Report: This report is now available to assist flex schools when building master schedules. This report will display errors found in the Scheduling Master Schedule (SMS) table. This report can also be accessed under Reports > Scheduling > Scheduling Master Schedule Errors Report (Flex). See Flex Scheduling Reports.


  11. Adjust SBAC report to work for Flex and Section Staff Schools

    Adjust the Print Smarter Balanced (SBAC) report to work in Flex Scheduling and Section Staff Schools. When selecting to print the option to sort by Period or Section, adjust this report to work in Flex Schools. Currently, this report returns a message "no information is available to print". Selecting to print by Period, needs to reflect Flex Periods instead of 1-9. Selecting to print by Section, needs to reflect staff from SSE/STF tables.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 9/17/24. Here are the relevant revision notes: 

    • School Info > Staff - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following were added and changed in the Scheduling Master Schedule Classes and Master Schedule Classes sections. See Flex Scheduling - Staff Data.
    • The Per (Period) column is now sorted by term, start time, then short title.
    • A Total Stu field was added for each section which displays the Total from Scheduling Master (SMS.TS) or Master Schedule (MST.TS). 
    • The Max Seats field was added for each section which displays the Max (maximum students) from Scheduling Master (SMS.MX) or Master Schedule (MST.MX).
    • If Total Stu exceeds Max, the Total Stu value is displayed in bold red font.
    • A Total Sections count was added to the subtotal footer row which displays the total number of sections for the staff member.

  16. Add section number to the attendance page for Flex Scheduling schools

    The attendance page for flex schools currently displays flex period, time, and course name. When there is a change of section/teacher but the course and time stays the same, there is no way to distinguish between the sections if attendance was taken by the wrong teacher.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 9/17/24. Here are the relevant revision notes: 

    • Scheduling Process > Flex SMS Board - When using the Print function on this page, the options specified for the current display of the Flex SMS Board are now honored, and the currently-displayed periods are pre-selected by default. Previously the last selected periods from the Print Scheduling Master Schedule Board report were pre-selected by default. Also, if the Teacher is unassigned on the Flex SMS Board, the teacher is now printed as "Unassigned" on the report. See Flex Scheduling - Flex SMS Board.


  18. Independent Study Mgmt WPE Teacher View - Adjust for flex

    The Independent Study Management page on the WPE Teacher View tab does not display the course information under Class Option for the logged in teacher in a flex or section staff school. Adjust this feature to look at the Section Staff in Flex Schools.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 11/16/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Class Attendance Page – The lunch counts now support staff section schools. Further programming will be done to add this function to the Teacher Portal Attendance page and also handle teachers more elegantly when a section has no students.
