LTEL Import Process Changes
Due to the new file that the State is providing the LTEL data to districts, the current process in Aeries needs to be adjusted. Here are the changes that need to be made in Aeries:
LTEL Import:
--Allow processing of a CSV file
--Ignore text qualified characters in the file like commas
--Modify the Aeries CALPADS Extracts, LTEL Import pageA work-around is detailed in the Known Issue post: https://support.aeries.com/support/discussions/topics/14000019557
25 votesHello,
This issue has been resolved in the 11/17/2022 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
The LTEL Import now handles the new LTEL file format and comma-delimited files. The load and process buttons for the LTEL state file were removed as they are no longer needed. Also the process now handles special characters in the file. See CALPADS Extracts - LTEL Import Tab

AP Student Data file for Schools and Districts 2022 Layout Format
The AP Student Data file for Schools and Districts 2022 Layout Format has recently been posted to the College Board public site. It appears that the changes made to the file layout will have no impact on the Import Test Results process at this time. The existing AP Test Results - SY:2016/17 - 2020/21 file layout can be used to import the current data and the new data after July 2022. When you receive your AP student results files (downloads on or after 7/27/2022), if you wish to assist us in confirming this, please contact us at support@aeries.com and we…

Add option for Inactive teachers in Weekly Instructional Minutes
I know this was done by design because districts specifically requested that inactive teachers be suppressed from the drop-down lists, but this is affecting teachers that left mid-year now too! So now we can't audit the minutes certifications for any teacher that left mid-year. This is an audit issue! We need to access inactive teachers, so can it please be added as an option we can check on the Weekly Instructional Minutes page.
3 votesHello, this item has been completed in the 4/15/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Weekly Instructional Minutes – Administrators now have an option to include inactive staff records in the teacher drop down. -
Weekly Instructional Minutes - Allow Long-Term Subs to certify
Long-Term subs need the ability to certify the Weekly Instructional Minutes page since they are the ones instructing students at this time and tracking the participation in Attendance.
7 votesHello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 02/12/21 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Weekly Instructional Minutes – *
The page now allows all associated teachers who could normally submit attendance to certify a class. *
The staff dropdown was updated to only include teachers. -
Update State Seal of Biliteracy Calculations for 2020-21
SB 820 recently amended EC Section 51451(d) to state, "…For pupils who are on track to graduate in 2021 and were unable to take the assessment identified in paragraph (2) of subdivision (a), the Superintendent may waive the requirement to pass that assessment." As a result, the CAASPP ELA requirement has been waived for the 2020-21 school year. Here is CDE's updated FAQ with details: https://www.cde.ca.gov/sp/el/er/ssbfaq.asp
Please update the State Seal of Biliteracy processing to either exclude the CAASPP requirement for 2020-21, or make the CAASPP requirement optional, with direction to LEAs to mark it optional for this year's processing.
