Link directly to haiku to transfer assignment grading
Allow haiku grades to be posted directly or easily to aeries gradebook
2 votesHaiku has the ability to send scores into our system via our API now. They have yet to implement that.

Add shortcut key for new assignments
When in Class View, add something like a Cntl-N to open a New Assignment dialogue. The mouse shift - click -mouse shift - click is very time consuming for something that is extremely common.

On the import assignments pop-up, have the name of the teacher signed in appear rather than the first teacher alphabetically at the school.
If you are not the first teacher alphabetically at the school, you have to scroll to find your name, every time. I do not think that I have ever imported an assignment from another teacher (in 12+ years).

Including the option to not show non-current gradebooks in the 'push assignments to another gradebook' drop-down list.
Option to not show completed quarters/semesters would make process of pushing to other grade books quicker for teachers with multiple course levels not using linked grade books.

Add assignment average to the magnifying glass on Loading grades from gradebook screen
Teachers would like an assignment average when you click the magnifying glass on the Load Grades from gradebook screen. Currently you click the magnifier and can see the assignments for the standards, but they'd like to have an average assignment score as well.

Sorting Flexibility on Scores by Student Page
I would like the ability to rearrange the order of assignments on the "Students" page.
I often collect assignments in packets. These packets contain 6 to 10 assignments for the chapter and they are submitted in the order that they were assigned. When I go to enter scores on the individual student's page, the assignments are not in numerical order and there is no way to sort the assignments.
Although I could use the "scores by class" page, I prefer entering scores on the individual students page because it is easier to enter comments on the quality of work that…

Create a comprehensive gradebook report
Create a report that lists ALL assignments for all gradebooks and categories with their scores, including those that are missing. It should also include overall summary scores for categories and gradebooks. (applicable to elementary teachers who teach multiple subjects).

Take out the "Edit All Record".
When you go to import grades, you have to click on "Edit All Record." Have it already editable when you first click "Grades."

Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting.
Allow drag-and-drop assignment sorting. This will allow the teacher to not have to open the actual assignment for editing.

Link the gradebook to the Haiku gradebook
Students in our district like the fact that Haiku makes their grades available to them, but teachers have to copy over the grades manually. Make an auto link that gets the grades and assignments copied from Haiku to Aeries on demand.

Standards "Drill Down/Click Through" to show location on Report Card
When looking at an assignment, after assigning a standard and so the score will migrate into the report card correctly, allow the standard to be "clickable" and open up the report card to show where the grade associated with that standard will be placed on the report card itself. This would allow for teachers to assure they have correctly appropriated the standard(and score/grade) to the accurate location on the report card.

Allowing Elementary Teachers to easily get an overall GPA across the grade books for honor roll and other recognition programs.
In elementary schools, teachers are asked to calculate a GPA for the core subjects. Other grade book programs made this easy for teachers. Adding this feature to Aeries Gradebook would make a very busy time for teachers just a little more manageable.

I'd like a shorter version (than 2 pages!) of missing assignments & grade analysis
I want to used less paper. I want to be able to print multiple students missing assignments & the grade analysis on a sheet of paper without printing out 2 papers for each students. Many students have only a single missing assignment

Allowing to view student image while inputting grades. Cursor over silhouette?
Getting to know students via images while inputting homework, classwork, and test scores. This would help me identify students whom need further differentiated instruction.
I am a visual learner!

Then to SECOND hour, do the same thing... then third hour.. then fourth...Do it once and then Use settings for all linked classes?

Please allow users to see all students in that period on the same page in the gradebook.
In the last Aeries version, I was able to see my entire period on one page in the grade book. Now I have to scroll several times to enter grades. This slows down my grading process.

In Scores by Class screen, be able to click once to sort scores (ascending/descending) on an INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT. We used to have this feature!
