Right now ASL records the date and time each period attendance was submitted, but it doesn't record who submitted that attendance. It would be helpful for us to know if a teacher submitted that attendance or if an attendance clerk did so. This would be 11 new fields for P0 to P9 Username and AL Username, maybe also another set of the same but for First Submit Username to go with the First Submit Time values.1 vote
In a Non-Flex school the user name of who submitted attendance is stored in the ATL - Attendance Log table. For flex schools, it is stored in the CAL - Class Attendance Log table. This data is available by Aeries Query.

Order periods by time instead of period # on teacher attendance page. We often have odd periods that meet early in the morning but show up at the end of the list on the attendance screen for teachers.1 vote
With the Flex Scheduling model this can be accomplished.
Parents email addresses change and we need to be able to verify to what email address a letter was sent and when. It would be great if there was a log that showed the email address that the attendance letter was sent to and the DTS of when the letter was generated.1 vote
For District Attendance Letters, parent email addresses are logged to the CBD table, along with other information about delivery, and can be queried from within Aeries.
I thought there was a report that you could run that showed when teachers only hit the submit button and never mark any students absent. I know there are a few at my school who do this. The problem they create, especially during DL, is that they leave one class as the student being present, which generates ADA for the student when there shouldn't be. With DL, we can't assume the student didn't log in for just one period like we can when they are here in person. There are way too many for me to email teachers to double…1 vote
The Period Absence Audit will catch these types of errors. That’ll show kids who were present in one class and absent in all the rest, and it offers to sort by teacher.

It would be very helpful to be able to see the attendance for the week on one page and be able to edit the attendance for any day of the week on one page rather than having to drop down and change the day when attendance is finalized at the end of the week.1 vote
The ability edit attendance is based on options set by the district.

Allow additional fields to display to teacher such as STU.SG and STU.CG on the teacher attendance page so that if we are using those fields for Hybrid cohorts, we don't have to additionally tag kids on the STU page.1 vote
