By allowing missing work reports to be run from one date to another, it gives the teacher the ability to let students know what they missing during a distance learning time, an illness, or without having to turn all the missing into zeros. When you turn the assignments to zero it doesn't show on the progress report as a missing item. Showing the parent what is missing compared to what they scored zero on is a great tool for responsibility. Currently, the missing work report is wonderful but only shows for the whole grading period.
