  1. Special Education: Update SELPA Codes list for Santa Clara County SELPA Restructuring

    Santa Clara County has restructured its SELPA designations, and the Special Education page needs to reflect these changes. We recommend updating the SELPA code list to include the new North West and South East SELPA names, while clearly marking the older codes as (No longer in use).

    Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 1/20/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Student Data > Programs > Special Education:
    • A new field Alternate Minimum Day (CSE.AMD) will display on the Special Ed page, under the "Additional IEP/IFSP Information" section. This new field will allow users to record the alternate minimum number of minutes applicable to a specific Special Education Student to meet their minimum day standard, as recorded in their current IEP. This will be used for Attendance Recovery process in the future.
    • The SELPA code list on the Special Education page has been updated to reflect recent changes from the Santa Clara County Office of Education. A new SELPA code 4310 has been added for the North West region, and the South East SELPA name has been updated. Legacy codes for Santa Clara Area 1–7 SELPAs remain in the dropdown but are now…
