At this time, we’re unable to make this change. The requirement for a user to actively select the option to override the “Not Applicable (NA)” value is intentionally designed to help prevent unintended or incorrect data entry. This extra step helps ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.

We understand this may add an additional step to the process, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain reliable data standards.

  2. Additional gradebook code for assignments

Can you add an additional gradebook code similar to TX or NA that means the assignment is missing but cannot be made up, and changes the color from red to something else.

  4. scale just summative or just formative

Gradebook options you have, Apply weighting to Formative & Summative assignments- would like to have weighting to formative and summative to be separate, not grouped. You have this for Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade—the same idea just for formative and summative.

The Apply weighting to Formative & Summative Assignments is used to indicate when more emphasis is desired to be placed on Formative assignments vs. Summative. There are only two types of assignments in this case - Formative and Summative. The weighting between these must equal out to 100%.

  5. Display Student ID in Gradebook

There is a new feature that allows the display of the Student ID directly in the gradebook. It would be helpful to allow the option of showing the “Student Number” instead.

    Declined  ·  Kevin Praeger responded

The Aeries Student ID number is unique to each student, and generally never changes. In the spirit of eliminating the student number throughout Aeries, which does change over time, we have decided to decline this request. It is still open for voting and comments and we will review in the future based on feedback received.
