Allow assignments for individual students that are not posted for the whole gradebook (differentiated assignments)
Some students require differentiated or alternate assignments that do not need to be viewed for all students. This would permit those assignments to be added to their grades.

Teachers currently have to enter an NA for all students not required to do an assignment. Teachers need to be able to differentiate, and being able to create and assign activities for specific students is crucial. The current workaround of excusing students from work is time consuming and also causes confusion for parents and students who don't know why it is posted if their student does not need to do it.

Differentiate instruction is very important, especially for students who have IEP's. Allowing differentiated assignments will hold students accountable and make it easier for teachers, parents and resource teachers to track growth.

This would help for a student with a temporary independent study contract.
