The Graduation/College Readiness Dashboard
The Graduation/College Readiness Dashboard does not maintain a stable set of data. If this tool worked, it would enable our scheduling team to easily identify students in need of specific credit requirements. This would allow for them to efficiently monitor the progress of all students in the school in real time without relying on individual transcript evaluations.
Also, this will allow us to proactively manage Site results in regards to the California State Dashboard (ie: College/Career Indicator). Currently out curriculum department does not have an easy means to directly identify students who are showing needs as indicated by the California School Dashboard
The data-sets within the dashboard fluctuate due to user activity and do not provide an accurate representation of student statuses. Because the dashboard outputs unreliable data without the ability to be stabilized, the dashboard cannot be relied upon to evaluate student performance. This leads to our site employees not adopting the tool.

I'm seeing the same problem as well. We are attempting to implement a systematic approach to incorporating the Academic Plan management and graduation status tracking at our high schools. Unfortunately, the absolute unreliability of the information on the Graduation/College Readiness dashboard is causing huge roadblocks. Please see the attached image. on 10/09/23 I ran the 'Calculate Graduation Status' process. When it was completed it showed 82.6% of our 9th graders on track, identifyin which Freshmen needed work on their Academic Plan. Looking at that data again on 10/17/2023 (without re-running the status update process) and it now shows only 43.3% on track. How is this happening and what can be done to fix it. This could be such a useful tool, but currently it's creates huge problems for us.
