Allow a way to transfer sections easily in Flex Scheduling
It is so easy to transfer student sections to another teacher using the "old" scheduling method. There needs to be an easy way to do the same thing with Flex Scheduling. A simple popup form/wizard in Staff to simply give an incoming teacher/LTS ALL of the outgoing teacher's sections instead of having to assign a new Staff member to each section individually in the Master Schedule.

Alt Ed Scheduling - Inactive Courses
For a school with Alt Ed Scheduling turned on, editing courses in Course Attendance (CAR) record allows the user to update the course number to an inactive course but the same cannot be done in Classes (SEC). Either adding inactive courses should work in BOTH CAR and SEC or not at all in BOTH.

Course Request Form Functionality Should Match Classes Form
Although a previous AeriesIdea request (Course Request page more like New Classes page from 2020) has now been listed as completed; the functionality of the CLASSES form has not been programmed for the Course Request Form (on Classes form, selecting the EDIT button on the banner above the course requests results in a "tile" view of all sections of all course requests, which allows a counselor to make changes while seeing available classes, class counts, etc.). This functionality would be helpful as most schools will remain in the SMS until just before the new school year -- the feature should…

SMS Board Displaying Co-Teacher Classes
SMS Board does not show sections for both co-teachers. The SMS board only shows the section under the primary teacher. When looking at the SMS board it looks like the co-teacher has gaps in their schedule. We would like to suggest to add a button under the display tab to show co-teacher sections.

Color Code Class Schedule by Period
We would like to request an option to color code class periods on the student classes page. This ability would assist staff when calling classrooms to make sure they were calling the first period teacher's room instead of the 0 period teacher, as an example.

Single Step Option to Hide Class and Teacher Information
Please create a single step option to hide Class, Class Scheduling, Gradebook, and Teacher information from the Parent and Student Portals, Mobile Portal, and from Aeries Communications. Including a date range when this restriction is in effect would be preferable.

MST Board - automatically change view to current term when opening this page
Currently when I open MST Board it defaults to 1st Trimester. It would be nice if MST Board opened to the current term by default (which right now is 2nd Trimester)

4x4 Color Code Class Schedule
Currently coded open blue circle for an available class, but does not differentiate between Fall or Spring Term. This improvement would be the most valuable.
Also red x with red circle for a full class, but does not differentiate between Fall or Spring Term. This would help using wait lists.1 vote -

Scheduling Letter Text Editor
The editor allows only one letter to be saved. Trying to add an additional letter triggers the 'Letter ID must start with "Schedule"' error message, even if it does meet that criterion. For example, Schedule Spanish, Schedule 20-21.

Alternate Course Requests - Allow adding multiple courses
As as an Admin user I'd like to see the ability to add several alternate course request just as it is for regular requests. Having to add one at a time is too time consuming so hoping this might be an easy fix.

Scheduling Course Request letters via email
Would love the ability to send the scheduling course request letters through the SIS via email to primary contact and students. Currently they can be printed as PDF and handed out to students but with so many students working remotely the ability to send these via email en masse through the SIS so that students/parents get their individual letter would be amazing!

Add a Mass Delete option to the Scheduling Exclusions on the SED Page and as a Scheduling Option:
Add a Mass Delete option to the Scheduling Exclusions on the SED Page and as a Scheduling Option: A mass delete of SED records may be helpful. This would need options for the type of record to delete (teacher, period, student or all) and grade level to delete since students in the incoming grade level would have teacher and period records that would not apply to the new school.
