SENR ODS reconciliation - unneeded removal records generated
The SENR ODS reconciliation process is creating D records in the removals file needlessly when a student has an enrollment status change (such as grade level, school transfer) - commonly referred to as a 440 or E150 change. In these cases the enrollment date (start date) is not changing... nor are the other SENR operational key fields (School of Attendance, SSID, Start Date) - so a (D)elete record is not needed.
Having uneeded (D)elete records in the removals file causes increased workload due to:

API Staff Endpoint - Add staff with no UGN records when "Exclude Expired Accounts for Staff Data" option is enabled

- Aeries API - When the Exclude Expired Accounts for Staff Data option is enabled on the API Security page, staff records are no longer excluded from the Staff endpoint results in cases where the staff record exists but does not have a user account in the User and Group Names table (UGN).

Add option to display Staff ID on specific Flex scheduling reports
On several reports (such as SMS/MST reports), it displays the Staff ID first and then the teacher last name, first name.
Because our district uses a long staff id number, it only leaves a few letters of a teacher's name displaying making it very difficult to identify which teacher it is referring to without looking up a Staff Id #.
Since the display fields on some reports are limited - can the Staff Last Name be displayed FIRST, and the staff Id# at the end?

- Flex Scheduling Reports - The following Flex Scheduling reports now display a new Staff ID option. When deselected, this option will not print the Staff ID on the report. Also, the Days column on the reports have been renamed Calendar.

Grade Reporting > Configurations > Grading Periods: A grading period for the Year may now be created to calculate a final year grade based other grade marks for any courses with the same service id within the year, including semester courses. See Texas - Final Yearly Grade Mark documentation.

User account (UGN) Cleanup during NYR Process
Assess Last Login Date/Time for all User accounts in UGN and during the NYR process and Disable any that have been unused for prior school year, or specific period of time.

Report for TDHS annual report of Vision,Hearing,Scoliosis Data
All Texas districts pull medical data from their SIS (Aeries or otherwise) and manually input it to the state site. Krum's old SIS had a report? that would pull all of this for them. They would like to have the same programmed into Aeries. We have some SQL queries bulit that will pull the data. But it must be manipulated in Excel to get the necessary TOTALS for each item for each Grade level.

Create an Attendance Enrollment Management Page
We need a page for when students go on independent study as a result of short-term quarantine that allows us to mass update groups of students in and out of attendance programs and updates their attendance program status on both the attendance enrollment and the student program in the demographics page. It's super tedious to individually click to change the status for each child each time they are temporarily online.

Create CALPADS SPRG 185 Records for TK from Student TK Grade Enrollment instead of PGM
Using PGM to generate SPRG 185 records for TK students is redundant as Aeries already has the -1 grade level for TK students. Adjust the CALPADS SPRG extract to process student ATT/ENR data for the TK Grade Level to generate SPRG 185 records. PGM 185 could still remain and continue to work, but schools should have the option to not use PGM.

The SPRG extract has been enhanced to handle program code 185 for Transitional Kindergarten students. No records will be needed in PGM. The program records will be dynamically inserted into the SPRG extract for those students who need it, with appropriate beginning and ending dates.

Report for missing Attendance Notes
For SB 98, we have instructed our Daily attendance teachers to fill in DL Engaged or DL Not Engaged as an Daily Attendance note. We need a way to pull the teachers that have missing filling in the Daily notes. Just like we run for missing attendance, we need tor run for missing notes.

Teacher Attendance - Allow Updating of Certain Codes
The Aeries Teacher Portal currently allows teachers to override any verified absence code, or override only unverified absence codes, and there isn't an option to allow teachers to override only certain verified absence codes.
In Aeries, a Tardy Truant is treated as a Verified Tardy, which makes sense. However, if a teacher accidentally selects Tardy Truant, since it's considered "verified", they can't un-select it.
It would be great if we could provide a comma-separated list of verified absence codes that teachers could override on the Portal Options screen. We wouldn't want to allow teachers to override all absence codes, like…

Teacher Attendance and Portal Options: A new portal option has been added to “Only Allow Teachers to Override Attendance Codes listed”. With this option, teachers will not be able to override a Verified Absence Code except when that Attendance Code is available to be used by a teacher. Due to recent changes for Distance Learning attendance accounting, teachers have been given access to use some Verified Attendance Codes but this presented problems because teachers had to either be allowed to override ANY Verified Absence Code or get stuck with that code after having used it. This new option fixes that. This option is mutually exclusive to the option to “Allow teachers to override verified absences”.

Support lookup by serial number for Assets pages
Barcode labels are being torn off of assets and we have to rely on the serial number to uniquely identify the unit. The trouble is, none of the Assets pages appear to support lookup by serial number.

Classroom Attendance - Display Additional Student Data Fields
To help with Hybrid instruction, - Display Additional Student Data Fields on the Classroom Attendance page.
For A/B Groups of students, students will be flagged using a Student User Code field. This information can be displayed to teachers on the Teacher Attendance page, but if office staff have to take attendance for a teacher, the Classroom Attendance page also need to display this information for each student.8 votesHello, this idea/bug has been completed in the 9/28/2020 update. This page now displays the additional student fields configured on the Portal Options page. Also, the Stu ID, Grade, Track, Program, and these new student field columns can be sorted ascending or descending. Also, the section number is now displayed in the table header. Online Course Requests and choosing Alternate Courses thru Aeries Student Portal – the current setup allows for a primary course selection, with 1 alternate course option. Is there a way to have 1 primary selection with 4 alternate selections (or another method that may accomplish the same result)?

Previously the Classes and Course Request forms were almost identical; with the new Classes Form came many valuable enhancements, including the Edit function which allowed a counselor to see when sections were available. In the latter stages of fixing the SMS schedule, the functionality of the Edit capacity on the Classes form would make changes easier while working in SMS and using the Course Requests form. Course Request
- Full editing of the available columns will be enabled.
- New blank rows can be added by 1 or 10 rows at a time.
- As part of the restructure of the page, added Class Link functionality to the Add, Edit and Delete section process.
- When a section is added that does not match an assigned Team Course Group Number, a warning message will appear.
- When searching for a course to be added or edited in a course request, users can now replace the existing section number with the new section without having to delete the existing section.

Teachers can print an individual student's report card. Allow the same for admin staff by adding a print button.
