Attendance Submission Log - The Start Time and End Time filters were added allowing log records to be displayed for a range of periods for schools using Flex Scheduling. The report also honors the filtered periods. See Attendance Submission Log Details.

Parent Square Attendance notification does not display flex periods individually
In Flex schools, allow the flex periods to display individually for Attendance notifications to Parent Square. Currently, the message appears as "one or more classes".

Adjust SBAC report to work for Flex and Section Staff Schools
Adjust the Print Smarter Balanced (SBAC) report to work in Flex Scheduling and Section Staff Schools. When selecting to print the option to sort by Period or Section, adjust this report to work in Flex Schools. Currently, this report returns a message "no information is available to print". Selecting to print by Period, needs to reflect Flex Periods instead of 1-9. Selecting to print by Section, needs to reflect staff from SSE/STF tables.

Daily Enrollment by Teacher Report - For Primary Class Tracking schools, options were added for printing Narrow, Wide, and For One Month.
The primary teacher name and staff ID are now displayed at the top of the report below the teacher name.

Class Attendance Page – The lunch counts now support staff section schools. Further programming will be done to add this function to the Teacher Portal Attendance page and also handle teachers more elegantly when a section has no students.

Flex SMS Board - Ability to select Primary Teacher when adding a section
Currently on the Flex Scheduling board, when creating a section there is no ability to select the primary teacher. The current process of creating the section and going to scheduling master to add the primary teacher creates an unnecessary and time-consuming extra step, especially for people who are accustomed to working directly on the board.

Scheduling Info - See Staff Scheduling Information.
- Staff - The Staff Scheduling Info section was added for section staff schools, allowing users to track school-specific information such as room number and max students per period. The data is stored in the SSI table.
- Flex SMS Board - The Room and Max fields are now populated automatically with Staff Scheduling Information (SSI) when using the Add Class button or the SMS Builder.
- Master Schedule - When saving a primary teacher in the Section Staff Members section, the Room and Max fields are now populated automatically with Staff Scheduling Information (SSI).

Email List Page and Counselor Name
Email List page - When the Staff ID Based Counselor option is enabled, the Email List page needs to be enhanced to look at STU.CNS instead of STU.CU for Counselor in Secondary and Flex schools.
4 votesHello, a fix for this issue was released on 2/22/2024. Here are the revision notes: Student Data > Other > Email List
- For secondary schools and schools using Flex Scheduling, the Counselor field now honors the Staff ID Based Counselor setting on School Options and displays the value from the Counselor field (STU.CNS) on Demographics, instead of Teacher Number (STU.CU), accordingly.
- For elementary schools, the Counselor field was added and displays the value from the Counselor field (STU.CNS) on Demographics.

Logic exists to pre-determine conflicts by excluding sections from displaying in the dropdown by checking if a section is already scheduled within the same period and term. - Scheduling Setup - The Scheduling students into classes for the next school year, using their grade level next year option is no longer available for Flex Scheduling schools in order to prevent these schools from reverting back to traditional scheduling. See Flex Scheduling - Scheduling Setup.
