    Allow for Preschool Grade Levels Other Than -2. Some districts use grades > 13 to identify Preschool students. In Texas both grades -1 and -2 may include preschool students as defined by CRDC guidelines.

  3. CALPADS adjustments needed in schools using Alt Ed sections for SCSE/SCSC and CRSE/CRSC extracts

    In a school where "Allow Individual Sections to be Flagged for Alt Ed Scheduling" is enabled in School Options, and the "Alt Ed Sched" (MST.AE) in the Master Schedule page is selected, add a prefix to the virtual Course section ID number in the SCSE/C and CRSE/C extracts to properly identify the Section number as a unique, virtualized number.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 02/29/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Exports and Imports > CALPADS Extracts - For schools using the School Setting "Allow Individual Sections to be Flagged for Alt Ed Scheduling", when CRSE/SCSE or CRSC/SCSC extracts are generated from the Fall 2 and EOY tab, now any Alt Ed course will include a V at the beginning of the virtualized number under Course Section ID column in order to prevent using a number that may already exist for an actual section.

    Student Transcript - The Student Transcripts had the potential to generate an error when none of the courses in the Course table were flagged with Algebra 1 Requirement Met and the Transcript Style was set to Enhanced (1-Column) in Transcript Definitions.

  5. Print Substitute Teacher Account Info Username Spacing

    Creating a day-to-day temporary substitute account produces the "PrintSubstituteTeacherAccountInfo" report. The username on the report often confuses our substitutes because the font makes it look like there are spaces. Please see the sample screenshot.

    Could a different font be used for the username?

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 7/2/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Portal Management > Create Substitute Teacher Accounts - When printing the Info Sheet, the Your User Name and Your Password fields on the report now print in a font that makes it easier to distinguish between lowercase and uppercase letters.

    Student Data > Guidance > Assertive Discipline (Additional Info tab) - The SSSP Team Review and SSSP Team Review Date labels are now shaded green to indicate they are used for Texas State Reporting.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 3/12/2024 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    School Info > Imports and Exports > Import Test Results - The file layout for the STAAR EOC was updated according to the 2023-2024 requirements as follows. See Test Specific Information - STAAR EOC/STAAR EOC Alternate 2.

    • The STAAR EOC option in the drop-down list now includes the 2023-2024 school year.
    • The TX Unique Student ID field was renamed to TSDS ID.
    • The option Word Prediction was added to the Testing Exclusions - Problem field, and Spelling Assistance was renamed to Spell Check (TEX.PRB).
    • The Exclude Test option (code 0) was added as a Performance Level Indicator (TST.PI), and code 99 was added for N/A.

  9. CRDC ENRL-2B for Civil Rights should pull from PGM.CD instead of LAC.SR

    ENR2B for Civil Rights should pull from PGM.CD instead of LAC.SR. LAC.SR is not state reported but PGM.CD is and this will prevent people from having to put the same information in two separate spots.

     Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 02/29/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    School Info > Imports and Exports > Texas State Reporting - The PEIMS Discipline extract only extracted the SSSP Team Review element (E1734)  if the SSSP Team Review Date (ADS.SDT) was  populated and the SSSP Team Review (ADS.SSP) field was set to Y or N. Now the element is always extracted and displays 1 if ADS.SSP is populated with Y; otherwise 0.  See StudentDiscipline Interchange - Field Mapping and Rules.

  12. SBG Load from Gradebook - Treat Blank in SSE Gradebook Permission as F-Full

    Issue: When Section Staff is used, teachers (primary and non-primary) need to have "Full" Gradebook Permissions in the SSE record (SSE.GBP) in order to Load Grades from Gradebook when adding Standards Based Grades to the Report Cards. If they merely have a blank in SSE.GBP then the Gradebooks will not be listed in Step 2 of the Load Grades from Gradebook process.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 2/23/2024. Here are the revision notes:

    Reports > Grade Report Cards - When printing a trifold version of the report card, the page number printed in the bottom-right corner in the same area used by the USPS for the barcode. The page number was moved to the bottom-left corner to avoid this issue.

    UPDATE: As of 2/11/2024 the CRDC Extract process has been updated to meet the requirements for the 2021-2022 CRDC Data Collection.  See the Revision notes dated 2/11/2024 for a more thorough explanation of all the changes. Please be sure you are updated to the latest version of Aeries to access these changes.

    NOTE: There are 2 sections where the data is not quite extracting properly, so we are suppressing this data from the extract at this time.

    DISC: Student Discipline (Corporal Punishment, Expulsion, Suspension)

    • DISC-27: School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension

    OFFN: Offenses

    • OFFN-1: Offenses – Number of Incidents

    We will immediately be adjusting the extract further to include these sections, and that work remains our highest priority. However we wanted our Customers to know about the work-around for these sections, if needed:

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 1/25/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    MCOE Custom - Apportionment Summary, Apportionment Student Detail, ADA Summary by School and ADA Student Detail reports will now truncate ADA values prior to calculating values. The individual columns on the Apportionment Summary report will now add up exactly to the total ADA column. Also, all ADA values are displayed to the hundredths decimal (i.e., 0.00, 1.20, 5.75)

  17. TOMS Test Settings Modifications

    Modify the TOMS Test Settings page to:
    1. Remove unneeded tests
    2. Add sorting by type (checkbox or dropdown) and then alphabetically within each accommodation so settings are easier to find
    3.Correct page checkbox selection refresh issues

  18. CCGI Extract - Do Not Include Concurrent Enrollment Students in StudentTemplate File

    Adjust the CCGI Extract to handle concurrent enrollment records in this manner for the extracted files:
    StudentTemplate - include students once with their primary enrollment school
    TestGradeTemplate - include students once with each of their college test score records
    CourseGradeTemplate - include students once with each of their transcript records AND include students with each of their work in progress (i.e., current classes) records regardless of enrollment status

    Sorry for the late notice, but this work item was released to our customers back in May of 2024. Here are the relevant Revision Notes:

    • School Info > Imports and Exports > CCGI Extract - For students concurrently enrolled in more than one school, the extract now associates students only with their primary enrollment school in the StudentTemplate and TestGradeTemplate files, but includes all of their work-in-progress classes from primary and secondary enrollment schools in the CourseGradeTemplate file.
