- Schedule All Students - The scheduler now honors the Class Link field (SMS.CL), enabling a student to automatically be scheduled into all sections that have the same Class Link when the student is scheduled into a section that has Class Link populated.
- SMS Board -The Schedule Students process now honors the Class Link field (SMS.CL), enabling a student to automatically be scheduled into all sections that have the same Class Link when the student is scheduled into a section that has Class Link populated.

Display Credits on Course Request Page
On the course request page, display the credits that a student is scheduled to be enrollment for.
3 votesHello, this idea has been completed in the 1/26/2023 update. Here are the Revision Notes: Course Requests and Classes - A summary of the student's Total Courses and Total Credits by Term is now displayed. Repeated courses are only counted once per term.

Add the Flex Period titles across the top of the Flex Board, above the timeline.
Add the Staff ID under each teacher's name.

The Period View option was added to allow toggling from a Timeline View to a Period View, and vice versa. While in Period View, the new Period Filter allows filtering out the desired periods to display on the board. All functionality is similar to the SMS Board, including button click and drag-and-drop. -
Flex SMS Board - Bring back the Group by Department display option
When you view the SMS Board in Flex, the option to Group by Department is missing. It's a key tool for building complex schedules at a high school. Please add this feature to Flex.

Flex SMS Board – The Group by Department feature has been added to this board for both Timeline and Period View. Also, the current time marker (vertical red line) has been removed. -
Class Scheduling - Allow Alt Ed Scheduling for Specific Courses
Would like to see a solution for High Schools who offer online courses (i.e. Edgenuity, APEX) and or use placeholder courses. Currently, High Schools are unable to know the exact course that students are taking via Edgenuity program, which makes it highly problematic to schedule, figure out their graduation status, keep tabs on progress via grading, transcribing.
In looking at current Aeries features there are 2 current functions that get close to providing a solution. The first one is Alternative Ed. Scheduling, however I was told that this feature would not work in a regular comprehensive, as it would throw…

School Settings – A new option has been added to the Alt Ed Scheduling area to allow users to configure individual sections to be Flagged for Alt Ed Scheduling. Also, the language used to indicate the Alt Ed Scheduling option for a school has been updated to, “Use Alt Ed Scheduling For Entire School.”

Locator Cards - Add Changes Only option
On Locator Cards, there is no option for Changes only. Schools print off of the locator cards for schedule information often and this would assist with only changes made.

Course Requests page more like New Classes page
Previously the Classes and Course Request forms were almost identical; with the new Classes Form came many valuable enhancements, including the Edit function which allowed a counselor to see when sections were available. In the latter stages of fixing the SMS schedule, the functionality of the Edit capacity on the Classes form would make changes easier while working in SMS and using the Course Requests form. Several client districts switch to MST in the late summer to allow counselors to take advantage of this Classes form feature; 4x4 block schools really need to see available sections which might be in…

Course Request
- Full editing of the available columns will be enabled.
- New blank rows can be added by 1 or 10 rows at a time.
- As part of the restructure of the page, added Class Link functionality to the Add, Edit and Delete section process.
- When a section is added that does not match an assigned Team Course Group Number, a warning message will appear.
- When searching for a course to be added or edited in a course request, users can now replace the existing section number with the new section without having to delete the existing section.

School Options Incorrect Validation Message when Saving
School Options page is giving a message when trying to change the school to Scheduling Type of "Secondary" and Attendance Type of "Period" and not able to save.

Online Course Requests - Allow more than 1 Alternate course
Online Course Requests and choosing Alternate Courses thru Aeries Student Portal – the current setup allows for a primary course selection, with 1 alternate course option. Is there a way to have 1 primary selection with 4 alternate selections (or another method that may accomplish the same result)?

Course Attendance - Need "Add" Button
Currently the only way to get a record into the Crs Attendance (CAR) is to add a section via the Classes page. While you can edit (and remove) entries from the Crs Attendance page, you cannot add them.
Being able to enter a section assignment with start/end dates would be very useful on the Crs Attendance page.
