Seating charts should not have to be in a grid
Allow seats to be created that don't follow a grid. Let me make students in groups with aisles between them. We should be able to flexibly arrange our seating chart to match the desks in our classroom.

Attendance Letters: Attendance Letters History page
It would be helpful for school staff to have all the Attendance Letters sent viewable in one place. After Attendance Letters are finalized and sent, a button like "Generate Attendance Letters History" could be provided. When the button is pressed, the letter sent to the student would be added to an Attendance Letters History page (similar to Report Card History). Then school/district staff could see all letters sent in one place and if the Parent Portal group has permissions to the Attendance Letters History page, parents could see all letters sent on the Parent Portal.

Classroom Attendance Section Order
Classroom Attendance - In Flex Daily schools using Primary Tracking and Primary ADA option, TN2 section information sometimes displays visually under the Primary Teachers section which causes extra scrolling on the page to be needed.

Different Tardy Notices in Communications
Can we have more than one Tardy notification in Communications? We need to send a letter when students have 5, 10,20,30,40,50 total tardies. As of right now, the only way to accomplish this is through District Attendance Letters and this is a manual process. It would be nice this could be added to Auto Notices in Communications.

Auto email teacher to notify of missing attendance until attendance is posted.
Auto email teachers to notify of missing attendance until attendance posted. Times could be based on period, ADA time or the portal setting. For example, if a teacher has until 5PM to take attendance for classes other than ADA, the teacher would get an auto email at 3:00, 4:00, 4:30, etc to remind the teacher to enter attendance.

Attendance Report with Attendance Notes
A report that included the attendance code as well as the note. This would be so much quicker then running two reports and mashing them together.

Monthly Attendance Summary needs a Track and/or Program Filter.
Any Multi-Track District would benefit from the Monthly Attendance Summary being able to be filtered by Program, or at least by Track.
Many Districts use multiple Tracks to govern the school schedules with differing numbers of days. This causes the Monthly Attendance Summary to be unable to generate report totals, as it is dealing with months of varying numbers of days. Not even a skip query solves the problem, as the Monthly Attendance Summary always encompasses every program in the whole school site.

Flex Attendance Quick Print - is not legible as the text is too small.
The Flex Attendance Quick print should be formatted like the traditional attendance quick print, so the reports are usable. Right now the data is not legible.

For period attendance, include the total period absence - not just the tardies.

Attendance Note -- Allowing non attendance period teachers to add attendance note
It would be helpful to allow non attendance period teachers to add attendance notes. Currently, these teachers get a message "Alert - Not Authorized to add nots t this Period/Section!". Our independent study schools are set up as daily period 1 attendance but students have different teachers for different periods. However, only period 1 teachers can add notes; others cannot.

A double click is now needed to enter an attendance code in a period that a teacher has marked an absence
A double click is now needed to change an attendance code where there is an absence marked by a teacher, which is frequently the case. Combined with the new requirement to click "Enter", this adds two extra steps to each code entered. I would like to see this go back to the way that it was. These extra steps require a lot of extra time. My position was already overloaded before these added steps.

Attendance entered beforehand for trips, activities or surgeries
With Flex scheduling when entering attendance for an activities, trips or doctor appointments. Our school has many clubs that give our attendance clerk that she enters ahead of time. Especially when there is 30-50 students going. Or if a family is traveling during school time. In Flex if there is class changes the attendance put in doesn't follow the period but it stays with the original class. Then there are errors and you have to go back to every student and delete the code in the original class and re enter in the new class. Not only is this time…

Flex-Print students with N or more absences report options. Add total period absences/wide back
Would like to have the option to print wide when using the print students with N or more absences report. This report shows all periods and days. It also has a place to put comments if I want to print the sheet and give it to someone to help make calls. With that option gone, after one week, a student will take a full page.

Attendance Calendar Screen in Flex Scheduling needs to show many months at once
When looking at an attendance calendar, it is helpful for attendance and the nurse to be able to see a snapshot of the attendance history in one screen. This helps us catch our chronically absent students (in addition to the reports). Example: The way the screen looks when not using Flex Scheduling

Attendance by Month (Starting 1st day of each Month) Report?
If there was an ability to have a report that could be ran that would report attendance by Month (Starting on the 1st day vs how all the other reports are now) that would be extremely helpful in certain scenarios.

Can it be possible to have the students use their ID bar code to scan themselves in for attendance, or a teacher scans the student's ID to check them in?

ATT report Daily Present by Teacher includes inactive teachers (who have MST sections linked to TN). Please add option to exclude inactive teachers with no students attending in the month selected

Enhance Attendance Submission Log and Missing Attendance Reports to include all Tracks in the Track option dropdown
Attendance Submission Log and Missing Attendance reports only allow a user to select Tracks A-F or All Tracks. Please enhance this filter to include all Tracks as defined in School Options and the Code Table.

Add the ability to print readmit slips from the Attendance Notes
My school office staff is requesting the ability to print readmit slip from the Attendance Notes area like the Off Campus Pass. This would streamline the process for them.

Using [Enter] in the comment section
When entering in Comments section in the Other District Enrollment tab or the User account page, The enter key is not applied. Instead it just gets a long line of data entry. It would be nice to use the enter key and have the next line show up as the next line instead of a long line of data entry.
